They have already got back to me and are sending a return label for repair. They also say they're going to be offering the kits to fix the problem. And a video of how to do it yourself. Apparently it is just an o-ring problem. For the record I was able to take the cap off and get mine to work again but it only worked a few times before the same problem happened again

My LE still works, but my Gavle sprung a leak after only 100 rounds or so. Need to send back. Maybe those new O rings will do the trick. My big fear is pulling out one of these and getting the dreaded hissing!

My Intrubuster did this after sitting for a bit. I dropped a few drops of silicone oil into it and luckily it works again. Please update us on the solution...if there is one, besides buy a better launcher! Thanks love the channel D.K. keep up the good work!

@@dscfab I was able to get mine working again for a few shots, then it failed again. They say they will fix then they will have parts and vids so we can fix our own soon. Songs like the o-ring or o-rings need to be upgraded for a perminate fix. Grease did it for a minute

@DK-Spencer Awesome thanks. It's a really cool launcher with great power but it has to be reliable for self defense. I hope this will fix the issue! My Gavle did something similar after sitting it just dumped all the rounds when I screwed in the CO2 so I sent it back for repairs. Still searching for the perfect launcher ha! Really frustrating.

@dscfab Anything with power is usually risky. Lots of potential fail points in much of this stuff. This why I try to keep stuff reasonably powered that I sell. Pushing the envelope is just asking for failure

The Gavle V2 has great reliability. The O rings are super strong. So far, it appears they have far less issues than other launchers.

My gavle shoots twice even 3 balls at once sometimes. All of these launchers are kind of crappy to be honest. I have both the gavle and x 68. So far the x68 is shooting perfectly. Better luck with a modded out hdr 68 which I also have at around 45 joules. No problems yet and have shot many rounds through it.

Some folks have gavles that are working flawlessly but mine started shooting terribly after shooting it only a couple of times. I sent it back to them thinking they would tear it down but they put 25 rounds through it instead and said it worked fine. I got it back and it immediately started malfunctioning again lol. I’ve heard other people with this same problem as well. I sill am thinking about getting another gavle tho because of the sick colors they have now and who knows maybe the next one will be more reliable.

Love your sense of humor and the skeleton hands are hilarious! I'm told these markers have a lot of o rings! How many shots have you taken with that marker? If that is the modified marker, it will probably void the warranty! Chuck Norris would threaten this marker into working! Speaking of LTL, the Lancer LTL 68 marker which looks exactly like the x68, and is only $190 is out. Lancer emailed me and said they will be available jan or feb 2024!

The piercing cap? You would probably have to contact where you bought the launcher from to get a replacement. They use the same ones as the S2. They are prone to leaking for sure.

The puncture cap is the same as the S2 which failed for me too. I saw on YT to lube the white O ring, and well it's been working ever since. Did you swap the the cap off your S2 to it yet to test the cap? Anyway, my Gavle also has that kind off leak and is out of order. I tried the lube thing on it but this time it did not fix the problem. I am now really afraid of using these launchers for self defense. In the end, as much as some people may not like it, I may just have to go back to my LE my only dependable launcher!

I have a powerful custom HDP 50 from Hot Spot Air that has had no issues yet and an LE that has worked fine so far. What do you think of that JXP primer fired pepper gun??

@MultiSkyman1 They tell me it needs to be sent back but that they are going to make a video that sounded like people would be able to do the fix themselves with the new hardware later. But I'm not 100% Sure. They did tell me mine would need to be sent in this time and new parts installed. Still waiting on the return label to be sent to do it. I've had no experience with that pepper gun. I've carried the Kimber Pepper Blaster 2 though. The Intrubuster, if the fix works, is a great option. I really hope it's not going to be a problem once they fix it. Seems they know what's the issue is, so that's gives me more confidence than them just telling me to send it back so they can try

The darkened aluminum Alien Play balls appeared to be artificially oxidized. Short answer aluminum “rusts” but this “rusting” process is called oxidation and actually creates an addition layer protecting the aluminum just a few microns thick. This oxidation increases the bore size to some degree. Bummer about the Intrubuster. 😢

The mub 50 is known to shot air out the barrel after so many uses, ive seen ppl abuse umarex hdp50 hdr50 modded getting over 500 shots before issues, it's a disappointment on price to take these chances.

@@JayJone5169 Well you also have to look at the fact that this thing has considerably more power too. If you take a HDR50 or HDP 50 I don't think you're going to get near this amount of power unless you have a longer barrel. This thing is really pushing the envelope as far as the amount of power it has with that short of a barrel. Hopefully the fix that they're talking about will do the trick but only time will tell

i commented this on airgun alley miami when this launcher officially was announced. the numbers and all look great on the intrubuster, but i wouldnt trust it before seeing it perform over a period of time. same with any product really. this could be a freak coincidence ofc, and if they can fix it for you its great!. but allready hearing about people easily stripping the threads becouse of lower quality materials that should never be used for that makes me worried. great video, this is generally where i feel i get the most "none BS" opinions and facts about less lethal stuff

@@lucifax001 It sounds like both versions are having the same problem, this and the X-68. So far Mercury rise has been really good about telling me they're going to take care of the problem and explaining to me that they have a fix and a video to come showing people how to fix it and parts. I don't know exactly what that's going to entail if they're going to send stuff out to everybody or just wait till there's a problem and then do it I'm assuming that since they're wanting me to send mine in that's probably their preferred method of fixing it but it does sound like they're going to give people the option to fix it themselves since they're going to make a how-to video. But I definitely have heard of the exact same problem with the other version and them offering what seems to be the same fix as well. Apparently it's a small o-ring in the back that isn't quite big enough to fill the tube when it's not heavily greased It allows air to pass by it instead of having enough pressure to cock the bolt. I will definitely keep everybody updated

I have 2 mercury rise mub and I had send back 4 times to gat a good one that is way I will guy the launcher maybe en half a year also I'm not sure it is still LTL because you can not shoot pepperball because of the power the pepperball will destroyed in the launcher before leaving

Man..i really REALLY like the byrna's for its user friemdly style and trigger pull to puncture tec..but i hust dont think 15 jules is enough to stop someone tweaked out on drugs or adrenaline. I was going to buy this one instead, but this is the 2nd video ive seen of it malfunctioning very early.

Intrubuster was NOT a "knockoff", they're the same launcher (rebranded). It wasn't done on purpose, it was done by accident on Mercury Rise' part. They received 100 units, and they named it after their company and called it "Intrubuster". They might of tinkered with it too to make it slightly more powerful over the X68. I haven't shot mine either, but am waiting for some really windy weather so I can do it without everyone around freaking out.

The CO2 was put in it appears.... backwards...which is why all the gas escaped. That end cap didn't have anything the send the air into the launcher
