Well said, Baxter. I just came across your speech here on KZbin, and I appreciate the old values you're speaking of, even if I'm not American. Keep on going like this, and greetings from Italy Stefano

The world we knew Baxter no longer exists. Many of my age have nothing but contempt for our flag. When a man eighty years old, born during WWll can spit on our flag, the troops who have died under her my world is gone. Academia has succeeded where no foreign force could. The halls of "learning" have become halls of shame. Shame for men, shame for white, shame for self reliance, hard work, the "uneducated". I'm all those things and as such I'm considered the lowest form of life. Whereas my sunburned skin, scarred hands, stooped back were once a badge of honor those physical manifestations of labor are now cause for derision and scorn. Yeah, I've outlived my usefulness and my welcome. The people that replace me, because of a different skin hue or because they were born elsewhere are now celebrated. They jobs THEY do count. When I did those same jobs I was an entitled white man. Earning a LOT less money than my replacements. My formal education ended at high school. The elites have it all figured out that all my education ended there. Apparently if you don't learn it at university what you learned is wrong. By virtue of the fact I worked with my hands and didn't pursue a college education I'm "stupid". I can't change those opinions. But at least we have a guy who IS "educated" and has done hard work repping us. Thank you Baxter, for championing my position. I have no voice. You do. And use it very well. I will salute the flag till my dying day.

Be it so, for we are all Americans, even though these days one might not think it so. We've taken a beating, at our own hands, and we still haven't learned. But we, all Americans, are still Americans and only we can take that from us, we can also give it back to ourselves. As we should.

Well said Baxter Black. I have my wife's, my father's, a grandfathers and other relatives flags that were presented to members of my family at their funerals. All were patriotic Americans. My flag will probably go to my son and his flag will be presented to one of his descendants.
