What size is the minnkota. It must be a 80lb ? 24 volt?
@scottmcley51118 күн бұрын
Trial by fire, or in this case saltwater. Dont be afraid to mess up, thats how we learn. Even someone as perfect as myself has messed up once before. I realize this must come to you as a shock....😮

Burley burley and more burley. Sit on top side of a reef or structures. So current carries burley scent over structure fish will follow it up have a floating bait down deep. Easy way of catching bigger fish

I've watched a few of you ordinary first trips. It was great to see you get some reward. Well done

The weatherman is never right. Also, this year is one of the worst years for wind and rain, at least up my way.

First fish is Job fish i think .its hard to get those legal size CODS , you can so many but not the legal size lol. Also a tip if you going to go outside especially in summer always leave one live bait floating while you bottom bashing u will be surprised what you could catch!
@selfsuffishingmeАй бұрын
Yeah we often forget about the floating bait trick in the rod holder. something we will definitely try!

Hey mark, a good way I measure whiting is I got a piece of small pvc pipe around 25mm id and put a cap on one end then cut the pipe to 24cm. If the whiting is sticking out or doesn't fit in you know its a keeper. I've been using it for years and works well. Keep up the awesome content 👍
