Reminds me of some of the 32 ehrgeiz helios 7 lamps that we have. Sometimes they need to be reset before they will accept DMX commands and other times they just need some time to "warm up" after being turned on.

@vampeel4 жыл бұрын
I would call that a design flaw, the lights dont remember their settings.
@christianjackson4 жыл бұрын
vampeel well, the issue is that only a few of them did that. They are supposed to keep the settings. Usually that is because of a dead battery inside. Not necessarily a design flaw since these are older fixtures. Batteries die eventually and then none of the memory will be retained
@xanderstuff74 жыл бұрын
@@christianjackson I guess there's no real way to get around that unless you want to change internal batteries before every show haha
@matthiasdb14 жыл бұрын
@@xanderstuff7 Just mark them as "defective" and let the guys in the shop put a new battery in. That's the only correct way. No need to change "internal batteries" before every show because these CR batteries should last a long time. They are like the CMOS battery in your computer. When it dies your pc also loses his date and time. Same goes for these fixtures, but with mode and address.

@@christianjackson Tbh I prefer double amount of 5r than half of them in 17r in my gig, overall they do the same thing when you're looking at the stage so more is better, I just didn't know that this big festivals still used them! We're planning on using 16 of the Robe LEDBeam 150s on 4 vertical trusses behind the DJ on our next big event. Do you think those fixtures fit? Cause there's gonna be 8 Sharpys mounted in the ceiling in addition to 8 JB P7 and 4 Robe Spiiders. I can't decide whether to use led bars or the ledbeam150s (we already have two Martin rush par 2 as a backlight)
