Being honest but I think Karen was a dumbass for looking out for her boyfriend (who is DEFINITELY infected), and I'm pretty sure she knew that there were going to be some infected out there, due to the kid talking about how "loads" followed him. Neithetheless, I think she could've looked around for him in the second floor of the house, cause it's much more safer and the infected wouldn't see her much.

Now that the movie explored the immunity aspect, I would kinda love to see a scene in the future movies where an infected person is cured. Imagine them coming back from that, they sure would have some stories to tell. However I think the cured person would be so exhausted they wouldn't last long, not to mention their brains would be absolutely fried.

The whole survivor group will still get wiped out, even if the blonde girl didn't look out. One, the first group of infected will roam around the place for a long time. Looking through windows and camping like in the first movie. Two, many more infected are coming to the area they are in, based on the chasing scene. They'll also likely roam around the place with the first group. Lastly, there's a likely chance that the infected will try to bash doors and windows of the house to get in. Worst case scenario, the survivors get caught and cannot escape because the second group of infected blocked the path to the boat. In my opinion, the blonde woman not peeking out will just prolong their lives for a bit. Feel free to argue.
