That's a good example why CGI sucks and is soulless (almost always). Even the fact that the ABC Robot is made from cheap plastic and with clunky controlls, it gives the movie a certain depth.

2012 Dredd nailed the character. 1995 Dredd nailed the aesthetic and setting. I wish someone would make a movie that nails both. Much as I liked 2012 Dredd, the setting felt kind of generic.

There was a lot of things this movie did wrong, the abc warrior was not one of them. To this day one of my favorite depictions of the age old adage that lethal technology from any era, is still lethal technology.

@bigbadcivic2 I didn't mean the new movie was bad, I just thought the colors and the presentation was more interesting in the old Dredd. Kinda like that one scene in Buckaroo Banzai where Pretty Penny is introduced vs the rest of the movie. Something about the vibe.
