I learned to love food watching Emeril with my late blind Italian mother-in-law. She couldn’t see him, but we shared so many laughs listening to Emeril’s infectious personality. She was still a great cook and welcomed anyone to her table, just like Emeril. Thanks for giving me those memories, Chef.

I'm glad you are still a presence, sir. I watched you back in the day on the food network. Before BAM even. Lol You were a huge inspiration to me when I started cooking. I want a food truck. Win or fail. I want to try. Your personality had a lot to do with the desire to make people happy with food.

Same for me, I remember watching emeril on TV with my Father. Between him and the BAM man I didn't have any other choice but to love food and pursue that passion. 30 plus years later I'm still going!!

Yeah , yeah , yeah ,yeah. Everybody has a better way to cook everything . There are a dozen people on KZbin trying to teach anybody who will listen how to cook everything from fried chicken to roasted buffalo. Instead of getting all worked up over some TV personality , just concentrate on the actual preparation of whatever it is that you want to cook .

Okay. I don't like cheese on my garlic bread. So lots of garlic cloves crushed, pinch salt, softened butter and chopoed fresh (if poss) parsley or dried if you must! Mix together well and allow to develope flavour. Bread, french, or baguette or bloomer whatever. Spread on garlic butter and into oven for me 8-10 mins 180oC.

I’m too lazy for this. I put butter on the bread, and then put garlic powder on top. I then put mozzarella cheese on top and a little sauce. I put it into my toaster oven for 5 mins and there you go. Lol.

I grew up watching this guy’s show. He inspired me to get into cooking and invigorate passion in whatever I choose to do in life. While Food Network has certainly changed over the years, I miss cooking shows that demonstrates the process while explaining the recipes. Emril still has it and I’m glad he’s on KZbin

this might be too my taste but vietnamese french bread just goes way harder, much crispier, bakes perfectly. i have family from both places vietnam and louisiana and its all still a baguette at the end of the day but for me, its the grandmas in the vietnamese bakeries that make the bread that sells out at 8am every day.
