Yes they should be in the forest eating their natural diet. I can understand why people get frustrated with them being in the road but they would not be in the road if people were not feeding them

@@ismaeladen1204 oh we were well aware of the danger we were in, we had nowhere to go though. The road ahead of us was blocked with vehicles trying to get a view of the bears and/or feed them, there were vehicles behind us too. Thankfully for us and sadly for the bears, in this area the bears are very used to cars and bikes. People in cars throw food to the bears, so they approach those vehicles for food….

@@raynarnslr1966 we didn’t see any patrols or even just signs saying not to feed the bears. The traffic jam you see in this video was caused mainly by the car in front of us stopping to feed the bears which encouraged them out in to the road stopping the flow from the other direction. A car coming towards us then came on to our side to see the bears and completely blocked the road. I guess the guy in the van beeping just wanted to get where he was going. It was an amazing experience seeing the bears but i can’t help but feel they’ve become a bit of a side show of this area. They should be in the forests foraging not hanging about at the side of the road waiting for scraps. Thank you, you too 🐻

@@GreatAytonWild i’m currently using Browning Spec Ops Elite HP4s and a HP5, can’t remember if this was on a HP4 or 5. They are both really good cameras and being honest i don’t see much difference between the two

52 racoons were introduced in Belarus (USSR) forests in 1954. In 1965 racoon abundance was about 1500 in the south regions of Belarus. Through the common border between Belarus and Poland racoon got to the East Europe. To the end of 80s racoon abundance decresased significally. Nowadays all the encounters in Belarus are sporadic. I'm trying to find racoon with camera traps too. Without any success yet )

I didn’t know they were here. I always research what wildlife i might find when i am travelling and Raccoon was not on the list. Possibly because it is invasive. I’m still amazed that i captured one on film and have now learnt so much more about them Hopefully you will have success soon 🤞🏽
