A Raccoon In Poland, Europe! Unbelievable! Trail Camera Footage

52 racoons were introduced in Belarus (USSR) forests in 1954. In 1965 racoon abundance was about 1500 in the south regions of Belarus. Through the common border between Belarus and Poland racoon got to the East Europe. To the end of 80s racoon abundance decresased significally. Nowadays all the encounters in Belarus are sporadic. I'm trying to find racoon with camera traps too. Without any success yet )

I didn’t know they were here. I always research what wildlife i might find when i am travelling and Raccoon was not on the list. Possibly because it is invasive. I’m still amazed that i captured one on film and have now learnt so much more about them Hopefully you will have success soon 🤞🏽

@@tcwildlifecam Thanks! btw there are no racoons in any official lists of Belarus fauna. But they are :) I'm not sure about Poland, but I guess the situation is the same. You are really lucky!!! Exclusive footage maybe!
