i can’t help but get from this video that you have this pre conceived negative view of asian studies/japanese etc for some reason. studying that degree doesn’t mean you HAVE to live in japan, converse in japanese in your job etc. there’s so many soft skills that come along with the degree and actually studying something you are passionate about and enjoy can lead to great opportunities and networking. it’s a great way to learn about the world and meet all kinds of people. i get everyone is different and maybe asian studies is less suited to some but I really don’t think it’s all that bad as you are making it out to be

I tried to negotiate a salary and the foreigner employed by the Japanese rescinded the offer 😂🤭.: I’ve worked in China for 4 years. It’s ok to go back and forth with bosses to negotiate. I’m surprised I hurt their feelings. They offered ¥260,000 but I wanted ¥300,000 .. so as we were negotiating I said I was willing to accept at least ¥290,000 😅😅.. the boss then said the reason was that I took a long time to reply..- oh wow!

I'm definitely not religious but interested in paganism-I'm more towards nature and Science but being a virgin, I love it and I'm pretty much an asexual spectrum. Funny that there are a lot of people that just don't believe you're a virgin lol. No matter what influence it's a choice and people certainly have various reasons as to why but shouldn't have people making decisions esp. this for you. There is a lot of complexity of what makes a virgin or not as well really lol. Just as using a tampon if it takes your virginity or not etc. I don't get it and well, it just doesn't make any sense if it has not anything to have a partner or person who actually penetrates you and delivers >< lol. In the world of dating for any person, people esp. being a girl in a heterosexual relationship, men seem to really not value much of themselves as a self-vs. some women more or less as to those men that take advantage of you, it's really repulsive and seem to lack zero integrity. I've run into a lot of videos where women REGRET their choices and how they are indeed used or just hate their guts. Very interesting and worse when a lot them end up getting some type of disgusting STDS. Gross. You mess a lot around with bodies, - to me it's just disgusting-I'm slight OCD when I think so much about it-not totally the reason why I'm asexual-but nature knows better than the human ego and delusion.

I love this!!! She is so right! Me and my homie from childhood moved and we made it happen. It has tons of obstacles and we started from struggle but we learned and grew and thrived a lot in Japan. Everything she is saying is spot on with the move, and life. We moved up and always had moments where we lost so much but I didn’t feel we were loser. I feel we lost the things we didn’t need anymore and we cleansed ourselves and made room for greater things.

I wish I'd seen this video about seven years ago. I'm not in Japan but my first bf was such a *bum* and made my every first (first everything) a traumatic, unpleasant experience. I've never been on apps nor in Japan before, but what Rin says applies to RL in other countries too. Men are men everywhere and she's giving it to us straight no chaser. I still watch cuz I love to hear her talk sense😂😂

A lot of it is more like racist stereotyping. Not surprised. Look at media, and a lot of misconceptions. Also, a lot of Asians are conditioned in the beauty preference, and straight hair, they so-called prefer. Not surprised a lot of this but NOT racism. There is colorism esp. towards their own race and whitewashing. So far it sounds normal and just not surprising towards your experiences. A lot of it is just sad ignorance, stereotyping-and my races pisses me off enough, just as much as I HATE the "N' word. Our race contributes towards a lot of bad in the media and black women behaving like they are prostitutes in music videos and act as if they are in a porno do not help-heard and seen other stories of encounters pertaining to black music culture as to why a lot of black girls where stalked and such; treated like they like being disrespectful. Communicate and correct and educate them as well as keep an open mind and be firm if they cross the border and then some. For the record, no matter the race as this Asian American man in Japan explained, Foreigners entire are normally seen as a fetish. Romance, good luck in the actually love dept. Seen a lot of married lucky couples out there certainly esp Black.

hiii! thank you so much for the informative video! ˚₊·-̳͟͞͞♥ i am wondering about the part where you said you would go out and cosplay in public. i love cosplaying, but i've heard that it's not really "allowed" to go out and cosplay in japan outside of organized events/meetups. for example you can't wear your cosplay to the conventions there you have to change once you are inside the convention and then change back out before you leave. i also heard it is especially bad to cosplay on the trains. did you cosplay in any specefic areas or know any extra info about this? i want to make sure i'm not cosplaying in places that aren't allowed. thank you so so much!! As far as I know, I don't think that happens here in France unless you're in a class with the person, a neighbor( or some other kind of repeat meeting.) I do remember in the USA noticing that expectation but it really depended on the region. I grew up with the habit of greeting people (everyone, not only Af-Am/Afro-something ppl) but I realize that isn't the norm everywhere.

Jesus said, "Don't give your holy of holies to dogs. Don't cast your jewels at the feet of pigs, or else they'll trample them with their hooves and then swing round and knock you down." (Matthew 7). This is especially true if they are not a part of your religious foundation when it comes to sex before marriage. So, it truly is not beneficial to reveal yourself to a spiritually dead person, just like it is not beneficial to reveal to an enemy where your nation's secret technology is. This is a spiritual warfare and a spiritual mindset, and those not in your camp are your spiritual enemies by default unless they have proven themselves by dedicating their entire being to your cause and your group and your god.
