To be honest, this may be the very best option if one doesn't like hard rings. A few months ago - purely out of curiosity - I made a leather thumb ring out of a usual three finger tab and patched a regular fur arrow shelve protector to it and oh boy it was smooth. It wore off after a few weeks, tho not because of the material quality, but I was shooting it every day for a couple of hours. Still, this option is a massive winner period. A big fluffy thumbs up for 2Apples Archery for developing this to a mass production item.

They look funny. Think I might give them a try. I started with leather now I like my metal rings, but why not try something a bit different. And it will surely be a conversation starter on the shootingline. A thumbring for the winter with fur, so you do not get cold. :) I can hear Armin on his next lessons, "You release was not fluffy enough!"

Wow. Makes total sense it working so well. IN theory its no different from using a hair on pass on a shelf. The direction of the fur growth offers little to no resistance. Love seeing innovative designs
When we see the smile in your eyes and on your face, we just take part of your pleasure, smile with you, and want them.🙂👍👍😄 Thank's Armin

Hi Armin, I was thinking if it is quiet and smooth, now with the thicker leather for higher pound bows it may work well for hunting. I will try with hair on calf leather. I have used finger tabs and gloves with hair on why not thumb rings.

and one thing more, fur preserve your thumb worm, important in Austria's winter isn't it ? ....
