It's truly evil to torture people with OCD....if I was an evil overlord their cells would be purposely designed to trigger it.

Streams of clear hot glue or silicone down the straw to break up the straight planes and cause a little turbulence. Also in real life that angle of the bottle would cause a blup, blup, blup stream, less angle results in a nice steady flow as seen here, subconsciously it's all a give away and tanks a successful illusion. You can get clear acrylic tubes designed to go with a pump at the local fish store that would be more secure and acrylic can easily be bent with a little heat, use an acrylic bottle and you can bond them with cyanoacrylate. Brace the tube by using a (flexible enough to be taco'ed into the cauldron) plastic plate with holes for the liquid to pass through and one in the center for the tube,. place it so it fits at the widest part of the cauldron, some sponge on the plate should reduce splashing. With a little tweaking it's a top notch effect. Can't not love the simplicity of the ghosts. Bats are adorable but most cat and some dog households would make mince out of them.

I got that exact same magnifying headset but in white for my dad for his birthday last year. He loved that thing, with his old eyes it worked wonders for the trinkets and watches hed work on and fix, sadly he passed away last month and the magnifier got broken in his decline of his health and mental functions. But its a great tool for those that have a need for it.

My kitties only care about the TV a when any form of fish tank is playing… but Joobie had both of their attention!! Sitting up in my lap, watching intently, purrs and chirps. One of my two cats also loves when I needle felt - she especially loves chomping on the edge of the big ole felt pad I use like she’s teething.

"Glass is good at transmitting hot or cold" actually it's terrible at doing that. But I guess the time it takes Evan to get an ice cube is time that he has patience for the glue to cool by itself.

I like how they show something that looks like a five minute craft and now at 40 minutes they still aren't even remotely done. I do think this is a very realistic portrayal of any kind of crafting, though.

Aww Joob is so cute! I LOVE kitteh purrs! And purr meows are the best sound ever! We have a Tuxedo female rescue. Her name is Tuxie. And I always let her know when I'm going to make a loud-ish sound, so she doesn't get spooked. She spends all day on the couch next to me while hubby is at work. We got her a heating pad to curl up on. and she loves it. I love both creations you both made!

When I was in Middle School in the mid-90s, a classmate of mine showed me how he, use his finger to blend crowns by rubbing fast back and forth with the heat build up from the finger. I'm sure people have been doing this a while and some way, considering some 13 year old kid was doing it nearly 30 years ago. Oh yeah and back when I was in school middle school was called Junior High😂

I think the glue on the top and sides disrupts the flow enough to make the water flow around the straw.

I like the clocks you are making - but have you considered not having all the markers for numbers on it? Everything is so organic except for the islands eing so regularly spaced. I have always had a clock with a completely bare face and there are no issues telling the time. :)

Interior lights are often enough to run most photovoltaics. Direct sunlight is better, but usually not required.

Um... The glass goes ALL THE WAY into the bottle, so that the glass rod supports the plastic bottle, instead of the glue. Test with plain water, first. You can always add the dye later. The flow is too low, causing splattering, because you hot glued over much of the pump intake holes. Hot glue doesn't dry. Why do you keep saying that? Yes, the pump wires disconnect for routing, which you know from your dry run before the cameras start rolling. The ultrasonic mister is going to distribute a colored dust EVERYWHERE. Edit: Believe it or not, I deleted the REALLY snarky commentary. I'm just a natural @sshat.

I really wish the clickbait trend of framing "Here's a cool new-to-me way to do this!" as "I've been doing it WRONG all this time!" would go away. The existing way is rarely actually wrong, it's just different.

i think the easiest way to get the bottle on the straw would be to make 2 small holes in the neck and then get like a small paperclip, it goes in the neck, bends over the straw, then out the neck, then you bend or tie the ends and cut them. you could do it with a small zip tie but i think it'd be more noticeable and likely not as small of a hole as the one to fit a paper clip through. you could still use the hot glue to set it better in place but the metal wire would help keep it in place while the glue dries
