Great excercise, thanks. I am very heavy in the bottom part of my body, so the side plank especially is awful and I start hurting in my arms when doing it… think my arms are too weak to hold my weight 😂

For me, it's not the engagement of the transverse that poses a problem in itself, but the fact that my lungs and the rest of my belly locks itself as soon as the transverse is activated is really problematic (thankfully the heart still functions). That's an issue that I've had since I was a toddler, alongside many coordination issues: only learned to walk past 36 months, crawled just at 9 months, can't do any compound movement (opposite arms & legs) without my brain entering mode "ERROR 404". I'm not trying to become the next John Cena or any other buffed catcher, but I only want to be able to do the easiest variant of the functional movements that every human should be able to do naturally. I don't want to spend the rest of my life bedridden...

Can you do a mini video explaining where your weight is and what edge you are on during the " step, pull under, fall forward" ? It seems like the weight should follow, but for some reason I'm always off.

Do the techniques only apply to a lower stance ( derby stance?) I've seen people doing a more casual ( taller, more straight up and down stance) at the rink. Does this taller stance just come naturally, as they are not looking for speed?

That secret trick def helps!!! I was doing it all wrong letting my leg hang out and pointing my toes up. These videos helped tons. Thank you 😍

The workout: 3 sets: 20 deadlifts (RDL) 10 a leg split squats (lunges) 15 Pushups 15 each leg side lunge 12 walking pushups 15 Sumo Squats (I like to add a 60 second wide wall sit)

My piriformis and tfl are annoying me so much I even foam rolled it with an intense foam roller and used a massage ball and it still hurts!!

The first pose when you did the skaters stride made me know Im 57 years old! I havent been able to " bookup" like i did at 14. Ive been born again skater since jan 19th 2020.
