Question: how do you load it out in the field when you're done fishing? I'm looking at the PDL 120 and really don't want a trailer. Thanks!
@BCFishingJournal4 күн бұрын
@@livenhfree yes I do. I have a Jetta Wagon with a Thule roof rack that it sits on. The car is pretty low to the ground so it’s not hard to get it on/off. PDL 120 without the pedal drive is around 80lbs. I believe my first kayak video has a demo of myself loading/unloading the yak, I lean it on a corner of the roof rack with a blanket underneath. @BCFishingJournalАй бұрын
@@carlossales8710 I have worried about it, but it would be a rare occurrence. Reason being the camera is tied directly to mainline (strongest line), and leader lines below camera are weaker, so if I did get a snag they should break off below the camera. The footage is worth the risk anyway! I plan on using this camera a ton in the salt water next year!

I haven't really fished in 10 years and I used to do a lot of river fishing in the 90s I did everything. The scam with all these new items coming out to cure eggs is that it's a scam it's just like when a hunter goes and buys detergent at a hunting store that is unscented you can buy the same thing at a grocery store for a quarter of the price. All you need is straight borax. That fancy color doesn't do anything. Save your money go to a drugstore and buy Borax that's all you need.
@BCFishingJournal2 ай бұрын
Apologies on the late reply! I’m not fully disagreeing with you, BUT from my experience different cures have produced very different results with very similar fishing scenarios. In particular, Slam-O powder has dramatically improved my bait game (I think).
