When I was 18-19 i always got approached by Men aged 30-55 but whenever i approached guys my own age, i would be turned down. This was because i looked much younger than my actual age and of course childlike features have an extremely low sexual and romantic appeal for some people. Despite this, i think age gap relationships spanning more than 6-7 years apart is taboo.

Men who prefer to exercise their options to date down do so for a multitude of reasons. Me personally, I know men who are divorced and choose not to go back down that path for said reasons. To each their own. That being said, they’ll date a younger woman who may be feminine, not carry emotional baggage from prior relationships, not bring a level of entitlement into the equation, cooperative, and a reinvigorating spirit. Speaking for myself, I won’t deal with a woman who gets a kick out of pushing back, revisiting past experiences, and projects masculinity. Those are some of the obstacles of dealing with most seasoned women, in addition to being rigid and set in their ways. If that man is well kept physically, that’s a win for him in expanding his options. Unfortunately, you’d be surprised how many women, they think it but won’t say it out loud, despise that. I know of not one woman, younger or seasoned, who doesn’t yearn financial security. For some men and the younger women they choose to be with, it may be an amicable trade off. If they’re happy, more power to them. Who’s to say that woman within his age range isn’t out for the same thing??? I think most women who have lived enough life aren’t honest with themselves in their assessments. It’s to be expected to “take a woman as she is” when they have failed to acknowledge their faults within, which oftentimes led to the demise of their relationships. People control their own happiness, and unfortunately that’s something too many seek from their significant. If both parties involved connect and complement each other in ways conducive for a healthy relationship, more power to them.

Hmm. Well Anita, I’ve been perused by 3 mid 20’s men, DEFINITELY a generation gap! But boy they were beautiful to look at🤫. I’m far from rich, but I can hold my own. So it’s not the money 🤷🏻‍♀️. MOST men that have asked me out are 20-30 years younger than I am! Maybe because their income isn’t a priority, or their height isn’t a deal breaker, I’ve dated a man who’s an inch shorter than I 😁. I’m always told I look much younger, and often mistaken for my son’s wife. My requirements are intelligence, a beautiful smile, knowledge of traditional rules we both play, fairly healthy, and know the VALUE and incredible gift a virtuous woman is. I am WELL AWARE that a men, who takes his position seriously is EASY to serve and be submissive to. She will be along side him to build your empire and be your biggest fan, support, and brainstorming partner.

Ms. Anita, I saw your video and felt drawn to comment because we’re definitely kindred spirits. I completely get the struggle of being a spiritual person in today’s world-it can be hard to witness. You talked about things you face on your platform, and I notice it in my life, too. I’m grateful every day and often see acts of kindness, probably because I do the same. Where I live now, people are mostly courteous, unlike when I lived in Florida, where I experienced a lot of rudeness and road rage. It’s hard to see people not even say thank you for simple acts of kindness. I wake up thanking God and carry that gratitude throughout my day, and it’s disheartening seeing others not do the same.

Lol and the ironic thing is one of these women is divorced and the other is in a long term relationship (but doesn’t believe in “traditional marriage”…whatever that means 😂). I’ve learned that people tend to project a lot and needless to say I’m no longer friends with these women.

I'm not a fan of it, but I don't think Tim gave good reasons on why they are challenging. Most relationships the people have things in common, shared experiences, and don't have major age gaps...and they still don't work out. She wants you for your money? I think most women over the age of 25 have the same income requirements. They probably even increase with age. The Kendra G show is an example of this.

From a biological perspective, if there is the desire to have children ( fertility is required) with the resources to take care of them( generally having to be established), it speaks for itself.

@@lifeventures6651 social construction doesn't overrule biology, your statement ( "a whole lot of older men") lacks validity ( it's non-quantifiable) with no way of proving it. The other aspect is that history is filled with younger women being in their genetic prime and older men having the resources to take care of them. ( King Solomon ->400( wives)600 concubines) The desire ( by women) for men to have constraints on their desires ( for younger women)is telling, because since ancient times such a loss of support by men could mean the end for a woman. With the life of an older woman at stake( functioning in life without a man), is it any wonder, women would have trouble with the concept of older men and younger women.

I think men being with younger women makes more sense because women tend to mature faster than men and are ready to settle when men their own age still want to have fun. Older men who are ready to settle can find younger women who are looking for the same things.
@aprilwashington3150

Women do NOT [mature] "faster". That is the social engineering of predatory men who want to justify having s3x with little girls. For that reason, boys are crippled (playing and hanging out while the girls are doing chores and being PREPARED for adulthood). Boys development are systematically suppressed to eliminate them as viable mate options. Pedos run the world as many of us are now discovering.

I'm personally not a fan of age gaps greater than 10 years. I had just posted in my stories on Facebook this past Sunday about getting hit on by a man who couldn’t be older than 25 years old and a 60-year-old. I'm in my late 30s but have been told by men that I look to be in my mid-20s. The younger guy who approached me is more than 10 years younger than me. The older guy is more than 20 years older than me. I could see myself dating neither. I just can't do those age gaps.

Lust is powerful. I think societies done a great enough job highlighting how men are driven by it while downplaying its significance among women. Over all the young person is in it for resources. The older person is in it for lust. Men conveniently have the reason of fertility. It is problematic in general but that doesn’t mean it’s not acceptable in my eyes.

I believe 100% that most guys are not honest with themselves and since they are not honest with themselves then they can't be honest with a woman and that's the problem that I see with guys today and I do agree with you Anita because a coffee date is a perfect way to get to know each other before putting to much time in to make sure both of them are comfortable with each other and then go from there.
