The cars are almost the complete opposite of each other in every way. The IS looks more sporty? But the interior is very much like a 90s Nissan. The GS on the other hand looks boring from the outside, but the interior is better than the current E class.

Your videos are amazing. So informative, detailed and honest. wanted to ask. The reports of head gaskets in the earlier models seem to be mostly in the US. Did they happen in NZ or do you have experience?Redriven says they not common in Aus. Im in South Africa. Thanks for your vids bro

Ive owned the GS 450h and IS 300h now driving a RX450h 2016. The GS is more refined more speed and comfort and good economy

My Lexus ct200h has both FRONT SEATS POWERED... On the other hand, I care about reliability, fuel economy, safety,,,,,, and, I don't give a shit if my butt is cooled by the car,,,,, about taking curves at speed, you're lying outright, this car takes curves as if it were driven by a madman, (I recommend you check), it has horizontal shock absorbers, installed by Yamaha, under the battery, and under the engine... And from there, from the firmness of the chassis, comes the hardness of driving,,, you don't like it?, buy a Prius. I have the FSport version. Infotainment is crap,,,, I agree with you. About the Led lights, I don't give a damn how they look from a distance, I care that THEY LIGHT UP WELL..!!!!! LASTLY, I FEEL GOOD ABOUT HAVING CHOSEN THIS VEHICLE AS MY DAILY CAR, BECAUSE IT IS PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS..... NOW, AMONG THOSE OTHER THINGS THAT YOU DON'T LIKE, WHICH ARE THE ONLY COMPLAINTS OF YOURS THAT YOU HAVE MENTIONED, FOR ME, THE TRUTH IS, MOSTLY, STUPIDITY.

Thank you for touching upon the sound systems in such detail. As a music producer, a good sound system is very important to me but most reviewers seldom touch upon this aspect of luxury cars at all.

There are slots for headlight washers, but I choose to fill them in and not use them. And what do you mean about front collision detection? The only things these models have are radar cruise control that sits behind the badge, and the parking sensors which I had pointed out. The bumper has 4 slots, 1 on each corner and 1 on each side of the grille

@@sammygoris i apologise for my incompetence. i am researching around as i am planning to get this car next month and i may not get my terms right. as for what i meant, i see that there is this rectangle thing on the front bumper. do you have any idea what that is? I cant attach any picture in this comment, but if you look at the stock bumper, on the right side of the grille (when you're facing the grille), there's a rectangle piece which i believe might be some sensor? thank you so much, appreciate it.

@@sprxsheep no worries at all! That rectangle is the tow hook cover. It is still there on the grille if you look closely. Basically, if your car needs to be towed from the front, you can pry out that plastic part, and it has a small wire that keeps it connected to the bumper so you don’t lose it, and behind that is a strong metal loop that you attach your rope to tow the car.

I own a 2012 ct200 I have a 152,000 mi and I started changing my own oil putting in Castro and the car must love it because I'm getting 51 miles to the gallon I've only had to change the brakes once. It does need back shocks I'm going to replays other than that I drain the transmission fluid every 50,000 miles and the brake fluid etc. The car runs great

As a car enthusiasts and expert, between IS300 011 model and IS350 011 model which is best buy? But try and consider that IS300 has a better fuel economy than IS350 in giving you answer. The buyer is in a tight corner to make choice. He is aware that the IS300 doesn't have carbon bukld up like IS250 model. He want a car with low fuel consumption, good engine, reliability and performance. Which would you advice him to go for bro ?

It can get confusing. If you're interested in searching for this car to search for is 250 sports package or F Sport package? I think they were made from 2007 to 2012 and they all came with Alcantara leather seats?

F SPORT only came out in the 2010/2011+ IS models. Prior to that, it's just a sports package. 2nd gen first model year is 06 (production models first came out in 05), first facelift is 08, second facelift 2010.
