Great video! I am looking to choose between two similar 991.2 GT3's to purchase. One is highly optioned, similar to yours, and the other is more basic but has the folding buckets which I prefer. Its a tough choice.

Hello Janko, Seeing the new 992 Phase 2 GT3 made me think of you and your already strong opinions about the Phase 1, especially with its luxury-focused direction. This time, they’ve taken it to the absolute extreme. It feels like you might’ve stopped your channel just as Porsche sold its soul. If you were to come back, I imagine it would only be to critique the latest models. We do miss you, though.

From my 4.5 liter to my 4.8 liter and now my 4.0 liter - I love my Cayenne GTS and Turbo! Yes I think of global warming while I travel 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds and 5,000 pounds of aluminum, but future generations will never know my joy and smile! I am truly blessed to live at the end of an ICE era…….

I have these Öhlins om my Porsche 996. Amazing on smooth tarmac, but for road use way too firm. The high speed dampening is too slow for road use and the springs too hard, especially on the nice mountain roads through the German Eifel or Sauerland. Was forced to go to a specialist for softer springs and adjustment of the high speed dampening, because more and more rattles came into the car because of all the bouncing. Wouldn’t advice theme for road use. Had to spend a lot of money to make them usable for the road.

I wish they would make the base Carrera Cabriolet available with a manual. I actually prefer the full Bordeaux interior with chalk stitching over the black / red interior.

The pilot supersport are an interesting choice since they are actually the predecessor to the Pilot Sport 4S and are inferior to the 4S in every way 🤔 I love however that you opted for silver wheels. It‘s refreshing to see 👌 very tasteful indeed!

@@JankoLindupdate: went with north 4 studded…split second decision was right one over x ice snow, just had worst snow storm in years here had to some emergency manuvers on the commute to work it was like driving on normal roads where as everyone on regular winter tires having hard time. Another snow storm coming this weekend!

Excellent 👌! This is my favorite car of all time. I'm a few years away from retirement and I plan to find a 911s similar condition to this car. I'm a transporter and years ago I transported a 912 . The new owner met me at a Lowe's but he didn't have anyone available to help him take it home so I drove it to his house and I was amazed at the feeling of driving the 912 I can only imagine how much better the 911 would feel with the additional HP. I may be wrong, but I think that Porsche may have dialled back the front end response of the GTS by keeping the camber quite low. I imagine with more camber (via camber plates), it drives much closer to the Spyder, and you can almost have your cake and eat it. With the amount of torque on offer the smaller tyres on the GTS probably aren't that much of a detriment outside of a track, where ultimate lateral grip might be needed. From what I know of these cars, I'd want the more liveable car, with leather not alcantara, but perhaps sharpen up the front end, which might have been kept a bit weak on the GTS to give the Spyder more kudos. I know the Spyder has the rose joint bits but 1.4 degrees of front camber seems very tame on the GTS, probably on purpose.
