Does fitting larger diameter tires confuse these measurements if the car is calibrated for 20” and 21” wheels? Did it ride more stiffly and harder with these larger wheels and tires? Or are these tires even more low profile such that the final total diameter is the same as 20” and 21” rims and tires? I was told that even the 19” and 20” wheels and tires are the same total diameter as the optional 20” and 21” wheel and tires but the difference is taken up by more height on the rubber tire on the smaller rim set.

@@JankoLind already subscribed. What about not having memory buttons on the passenger seat, and no voice announcement on the map system if a car costing over $150,000 plus? Also I still can’t figure out how to get my garage door opener programmed into the car. I have a 2021 Targa 4 - love the car but no one mentions these little issues. And why doesn’t the shifter push forward for drive and backwards for reverse? Is this an odd German backwards brain sort of thing? And the hand sensor on the front hatch - I find myself waving my hand all over 🤚 the front hatch looking like a slightly intoxicated fellow trying to get the hatch to pop open. After two months still cannot determine where to wave my hand or how high or how fast etc. to get the darn hatch to pop open. And the door handles - also make you feel stupid as you try to get the handles to lock. Apple car play is annoying also - I love the car on the road - but they could keep all this fancy stuff that hardly works off the car. I would trade all that silly feature stuff for a little more hp or maybe an actual clock instead of the chrono that keeps counting around and around for no reason - Also two body panels - the drivers door at the bottom is not flush with the bottom edge of the body snd the right corner of tender insect to the corner of the front hatch is high - both of which I am taking the car into the dealer to see if they can fix this sloppy body work. You would think th Le car would not leave the factory with poor fitting body panels -. It is not a religious icon - just a car it seems after all.

But do these larger wheels make the car ride a lot stiffer on the freeway or around town? How often do you track this brand new beautiful car? Changing to these huge rims sounds a little like something I would have done when I talked my Dad out of air conditioning when he bought a new 1970 911T because the top speed was reduced by five mph. Question regarding adding the Ohlins to the 718 Spyder... I am getting a GT4 soon and the biggest complaint about them from owners on Rennlist (other than needing rear-toe links) is that the suspension is so stiff that it causes the rear-end to skip over bumps. Does Ohlins R/T fix that issue? Also, I had Ohlin's R/T on my F80 M3 and it was WAY too stiff and way too high spring rates. I hope they didn't make that same mistake with spring rates on the 718 chassis.

Your taste is always impeccable but for the first time you missed the mark on this rim choice IMHO.Sorry. On my Porsche I always get the tyres and rims balanced centred on a "Roadforce Wheel Balancer" which reads Rim accuracy of manufacture along with wheel balance under actual load at speed via a weight roller at speed on the tyre in rotation along with a whole lot of other great things which makes your rim and tyre to 0 gram perfect balance.I picks how round each tyre is in manufacture so you can be more selective in the tyres you fit to your rims.I found 1 of my recent 4s tyres that I fitted was perfect round in manufacture and required 0 gram weight on the rim as both were perfect. I use Michelin 4S exclusive on all my cars as they are the best road tyre available currently for everyday use.Love your videos and your passion...so thanks.

The Öhlins Road and Track have 24 adjustments where 24 (turn anti clock vise to the end) is the most comfortable. When I evaluated I started with 24 and works up to 5. @@MacKac89 all these options all seem so critical while ordering a Porsche and I find after I get the car there is not an option that I have on the car or that I lemented not ordering that causes any concerns. Same with the colors. All the reviews like Janko are car fanatics and most drive on tracks like he does and their passion is to go around the same track 1/10 of a second faster than the last time and all these performance options matter. I spent the last four days on a Treffin in Scottsdale Arizona with 200 Porsche owners and we took driving trips over the four days and all the cars from GT to base Caymans surprisingly were just fine on all the driving adventures and most of the time the speed was 40-50 mph- something called traffic laws. Six cars at once got tickets at the same time- at the last Porsche club event in Utah and the tickets were for going 60 in a 40mph zone. I ordered the Base Targa 4 that is 5/10’s of a second slower than the 992 Targa S and spent the $18,000 I saved on some fun options instead. Porsche is like a drug dealer with all these endless options - all over priced but not too insanely over priced and they suck us into adding more and more of these options that really don’t make that big a difference - be it seats or Burmeister stereo or ptv or rear wheel steering - all emotional rather than reality in my opinion. I rarely play the stereo at hyper volume, I use my phone for navigating, have the windows open a lot, and travel around corners no faster than the Honda or Lexus suv in front of my car or behind my car. But I enjoy every minute of how it feels on the road and the quality of the interior and the way it looks on the road. You will love your base Carrera ans you will even get to hear the engine at top rpm for more than 2 seconds like the GTS or turbo owners… and your car is more comfortable on the road everyday as well. You could have spent twice or three times the money on a porsche and the on the road enjoyment is maybe 5% in most cases.
