2005 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER LIMITED-My symptoms were tail light fuse, kept blowing out left blinker wouldn’t work hazards stopped flashing, and would only work for a few seconds. Also as another possible problem is check the trailer hitch, wiring harness, right underneath the plastic tool tray holding all the tire changing tools inside the back floor panel. Directly above where the spare tire is, but inside. There is a wiring harness to add on trailer lights. Constantly shorts out on the metal floor. If you had changed a tire recently, that will definitely be a reason why I could’ve gotten moved in, pushed against the floor harder. Check it out as well while back there. Good luck

Thanks for the video, it really helped me out. The key was for a 2005 Rav 4, but apparently had been replaced at some point. So I search for "folding key fob battery replacement" and went through videos until I found yours, which was very similar. For the battery, those three points around it are retaining clips. I found just using a small screw driver to push one away, then come up underneath worked to get it out.

Why you need to take a front bumper off ????
@OEMEangg2 ай бұрын
The lower portion of the bumper covers the trans cooler line. I guess you "might" be able to bend the lower portion of the of the bumper. Personally, I do not like to bend anything.

The high beams are easy. The LOW beams are much more difficult. If you are replacing the bulbs use LED bulbs, not halogens .

EXCELLENT video! Fairly easy enough and inexpensive to do. All the other videos involved the car being hoisted in the air. So, $90 for the links, and a few thousand to install a hoist system in my garage. LOL. Another safety tip I saw years ago, when you take the wheels off, prop them up under the raised car for extra safety incase the jack fails.

@@makennaowens2525 I would go to a pick-n-pull or an auto recyler and get the bolts from another 2001-2007 Highlander.
@Sci-Mon12 ай бұрын
You should just go to a junkyard and find a similar highlander and pull the bolts you need. That way you’ll know for sure they are the right fit. Buying them brand new is surprisingly expensive. My highlander was missing all the bottom bolts and the side clips. I got them from a junkyard.
