Thank you for caring. I am well, I have been preoccupied with working on telepathic communication with my dearest James, which I have managed to do, which is bringing me comfort.. I do have a couple of videos waiting for my enthusiasm to return in my computer. I will get back to it soon. Probably have to relearn my editing skills 😂

Hi Pam. You are obviously one of the people who really see the landscape and notice all the differences. In our travels we have met quite a few who just don't see it - and we feel sorry for them. Especially when we've just driven say Woomera to Coober Pedy and enjoyed it all and we meet someone at the campsite who is just sooo bored with the boring landscape!! I hope you find Shortcut good. I used to use it but the latest version of iMovie is good - although sometimes I would like the ability to do something a bit flash! Stay safe.

Thank you. My cycling is not about getting from point a to b, but the journey there. Today Lea- Anne and I saw some wood ducks with a duckling . So cute. I love watching the trees change and shed their bark to show the beauty of what lies beneath. Always something to see.

I’d put in one or two taller flags, and also some bright red blinking lights, even in the daytime, in the rear. Bontrager & Trek call the daytime lights “DRL” or “Daytime Running Lights.” But overall, this is a splendid idea! Brilliant! 😀😀😀😀😝😝😝😝😝

Nice video! I bought my own Greenspeed GT20 last month, it's a very nice recumbent trike I must say. I bought a pair of Ortlieb Panniers for storing food and cloths in it. And a foldable parasol/umbrella that can be folded out and stored away very easy under the seat. I also bought a magic arm where I attached my smartphone and USB powerbank on. It's a great machine I must say!

James never had a problem being in my videos. He did however have health issues which impacted on him so some days he wasn’t 100 % well. He has since passed away from these issues😢 Riding gave him the freedom to get out of the house and was his happy place.

@@downunderrecumbenttrikeven6967 Oh my god, Pam, I'm so sorry! I myself had to choose between a mobility scooter or an ebike to get around. I chose the ebike in hopes of getting better. So far it seems to be working.
@downunderrecumbenttrikeven69679 ай бұрын
@runkurgan James had a portable mobility scooter as well ( Travelscoot) . He had COPD. His whole world changed for the better for getting out and seeing the beauty there was to see around our city and local neighbourhood. He always used to say when we went out, “ we always see something good when we go out”. I live by those words. His legacy to me. In his last year of life we followed a few swan families raising their cygnets. Such a beautiful thing. But we never really got to see them fly. Yesterday on a visit to the lakes with my riding buddies, we stopped to have breakfast. We were rewarded by seeing the current swan family doing laps around the lake. That was the ‘“ something good” . I hope you see many “something good “ things on your outings. Take care.

@downunderrecumbenttrikeven69679 ай бұрын
My friend Lea-Anne Martin takes her trike on the trains quite often. I know that you are supposed to travel off peak. The other thing you have to watch is platform levels . All along Petrie to Kippa Ring is level with train, roll on roll off. Where some stations aren’t level some have ramps. I think you have to let those stations know that you need a ramp. Best off asking your local station for advice on which station near you is most suitable and also destination station.

I just re-listened to the video. It still sounds clear to me. I could understand if you said that on last video as I have been having trouble with settings on Rode microphones, but this was narrated on my computer. I may have had the music a touch too loud as I did numerous editing on this video removing music to fix overlapping clips. When I put music back on I may have missed lowering the volume on music. So I am at a loss as to why you can’t understand me.

Yes I have a few different people to ride with. On occasions I have an upright and a uni cycle join me. Some ride fast some ride more relaxed. I just go with the flow and enjoy their company. Variety is good! Maybe create a Facebook page Recumbents in the capital state and start putting some flyers around in shopping centres with a picture of you and your trike and phone number to join you for a ride. Good luck. Yes if I am ever down there I will let you know. I have the vehicle to put my recumbent in so you never know!
