One more point .. the all show is about Nora.. you will notice she gets the final word in every final episode of each season..more that a pure coïncidence.

You have such a soothing voice to relax to. You should think about analysing books, talking about historical people/events also so people could listen to them before sleeping 🌸

The show is intensely Freudian and Jungian in its themes, one realises by the end of the show that Don's shadow side is not his assumed identity of a Don Draper, but his Dick Whitman former life, I mean even that name :-) also the flashbacks to his childhood, could that be really the young Don Draper? or how Don saw himself?

This is it, This is the video that truly understood Sonny Boy ... Not only him decoding himself but the depression he experienced at the beginning versus now was all worth it, For that self improvement and change

Lost got really lost, dude, especially in the last season - which I called the lost season...

Don’t waste your time. It’s a show about nothing. You learn nothing of why anything happens or how. Very boring after the 1st season.

maybe season 4 was downhill but 1-3 and Season 5 from Episode 7 to End and Season 6 are masterpieces!

im not sure about the this anime is about capitalism thing, if you read the manga it goes beyond money, it dives into the meaning of life, what makes us human, exploitation, manipulation and lastly desire and how far we will go to fulfill our desires. kaji is more of " will he win " and kakegurui is more of " how will she win?" both anime are good tbh

Another really great video, your commentaries have been very calming for me. Do you plan on doing any future monogatari related videos? I would read the novels but I struggle with keeping focus as of recent, so getting to hear a summary of the novels is really helpful. Your videos are a worthwhile gem in the sea of over stimulating content of KZbin, I enjoy listening to it.

Really enjoyed this. The minimalist editing, calming narration, and interesting discussion / pov on Sodachi Fiasco... really really enjoyed this. I used it as background noise while I worked on some stuff and I found it to be very calming, would love to see more commentary from you in the future. Sodachi is my #1 favorite character in the monogatari series.

This feels very incoherent and strangely propagandistic and political fore someone who is supposedly trying to uncover propaganda. It seems that you chose clips of very heated political topics in order to emotionalize viewers - that's gaslighting by the handbook. The real problem is that it's by far not just this video.

I believe in Nora's story at the end, it's very possible if you compare to kevin's imortability for example. But it's open to interpretation and that's awesome

I recently finished a complete watch of the series for the first time. I found the first three seasons were excellent, four and five were pretty bad and six was barely good enough for me to finish. The only reason I was able to really make it through is because I just wanted it to be over. From watching interviews with the makers of the show it seems that they were very concerned with how long they were going to have to write the show for some odd reason. You would think as a writer you would want to write as long as possible and not be concerned with necessarily coming to the conclusion of your story. The network was fully behind the show especially early on. It seemed that once there was a debate of how the show was going to end and which direction it would take to get there there was much more focus with the last three seasons. However I prefer the looser more realistic type feel of the earlier seasons and stories. It had a very Castaway/Survivor feel which is exactly what they wanted originally. Especially enjoyed the random episode that didn't even progress the story especially the one with the two people that basically killed each other over the diamonds with the spiders. It gave it a realistic feel in a way. Once season 4 started it was basically a race to the finish. The stories became extremely focused which was a shift from what the show was at the time. Also the amount of episodes per season almost was cut in half. I believe it was season 5 and maybe early on in 6 where the Temple became a set piece and that seemed very cheesy and odd that it had been there the entire time and yet not been discovered. Also the actors and their characters that they portrayed kind of became cheesy in a way. The final conclusion of the show was somewhat satisfying although it could have been played out much longer and much slower and probably told much better had they just left things be originally and went along for the ride instead of trying to get to the end of their story. Very strange that the writers seem to be the ones that sabotage their own show. Overall I'll give the series a seven out of 10 with the first three seasons being a nine out of 10.
