Many people - nay ignoramuses - will still claim that their simple minds could conjure up a deeper understanding of Marenghi's intentions, but they could never be as crystal clear as your 5 hours of intricate analysis of the work. The commenter who has invested weeks of work into tearing apart each and every scene of this 80s TV cinema experience shall throw the first stone, but alas, we know that none did. They stamped it off as a mere joke, never realizing that, hah, they were in fact the punchline.

If you ever want to see something very interesting about the philosophy/absurdity of art. There is a 2004 independent film called Art School Confidential that is a dark comedy that is underrated cinematic gold. It’s a little quirky and takes approx 30 minutes or so for you to get into it but it’s pretty freaking GREAT. It’s directed by Terry Zwigoff, who’s done Crumb (1995), Bad Santa, and Ghost World...
