I don't know how a team of execs, no matter how stubborn/doggish or proverbially outdated in their modality of thought, could have sat through those presentations on Galidor's project progress and continued to think, 'yeah, this is good, keep going'...this is the first time I've sat through an explanation of what that theme was and while very well presented in this video, the content was painful to watch...Galidor was hot garbage, period, cut and dried, I don't know how even the gameplay could have been thought to be mildly engaging...

As a kid born in the 90s my childhood shows progressed from Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, to Cartoon Network. Jimmy Neutron was definitely one of those solid shows in the early 2000s along with SpongeBob, Fairy Odd Parents, and Hey Arnold.

where is the fall? usually with titles that start with "the rise and fall", it leads up to something going wrong at the end. It doesn't sound like anything went wrong though, it just ran it's course. most franchises don't last forever.

Bionicle didnt saved LEGO whatsoever, to say such things is completely idiotic. Bionicle was pretty much nowhere back in a day in most of regions. Mostly it was just City sets and Technic sets, often just the generic ones. The only place I ever seen Bionicle in Europe was in used LEGO bulk lot listings extremely rare occasions and it took maybe 10 years to find even one listing of such when these were far gone and even then 90% of it were China made knockoffs basically inspired sets pieces and not genuine LEGO or even LEGO sets knockoffs. Usually these were dragons, mechs and other similar stuff never strictly direct Bionicle copies. Bionicle pretty much came and went fast just like most LEGO sub releases. Main problem was the price then the unapealing design choices. People who say they had these are super rare or simply delusional or liars.

Holy shit, this just pulled memories from the deepest parts of my brain I didn't even know was there. I had like all of these when I was a kid, but never would've remembered them if I hadnt been suggested this.

This is a very well made and interesting mini-documentary about Jimmy Neutron, which I was a fan of as a kid. I wanted to start this comment with that preface. My only gripe in this entire thing is you talking poorly about Reboot and Beast Wars. Really? Dude Reboot is the FIRST fully CG animated television show that is arguably much better than Jimmy Neutron (Definitely more enjoyable to watch as an adult as the seasons progress). It PREDATES Toy Story. You state that "Just because we can (make an CG animated TV Show) doesn't mean we should;" - Frankly you are ridiculously off base when referencing Reboot in that same sentence. Reboot is the King- Jimmy Neutron is a footnote on the history of CG animated TV show history. All of these comments also apply to Beast Wars which spawned a new wave of interest in Transformers. Good grief- that one comment brings this entire well made video down a good peg.
