I'd love it so much if we normalized mocking the Star Wars fans as much as mocking Avatar fans. Avatar is a masterpiece (never watched it) compared to the insurmountable mountain of trash that is Star Wars.

So I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of those things that a lot of people think they’re the only ones that do, but I actually think chewing gum increased focus and performance. I always chewed during school and gaming and genuinely believe I did better while chewing

I don't know anyone who saw the new movie in the theater. I have no idea where all that money came from. I don't even hear people talk about it.

The TNT era of NASCAR had so many movies as race/car sponsors. Shrek, SpongeBob, Behind Enemy Lines, Phantom Menace, Looney Toons, Peanuts, etc.

The company changed directions when you gimps stopped having kids. You can't sell to customers who don't exist. Mom's too busy at work to spit out a brat.

I chewed a lot of 5 gum back in the day of high school dances to mask to copious amounts of underaged drinking I had taken part in. Worked like a charm.

Yes I remember back in the 90s and 2000s Chuck-E-Cheeses had a lot of good arcade cabinets like they had Hydro Thunder San Francisco Rush and they had cruising USA

27:10 tbh though, it's highly questionable if AI can even become sentient in the first place. At least there is literally no way to _ever_ know. There is no way to tell how below endless layers of emulating humans (or whatever other lifeform) any of it is truly real or if at the very core it's still nothing but vastly complex if thens and switch cases and in the end it's just an incredibly clever software that can pretend to be alive without ever actually knowing what it does, simply imitating humans so closely that an outside observer would never be able to tell the difference. Even now it's possible to create the illusion of AI being a real person and over the phone you could probably fool almost everyone since ChatGPT can sound just like a real human which shows that outside observation of an AI is thew wrong tool to verify if it is sentient or not but when you look at the way it works at its core, assuming a super AI that seems to be truly sentient 10,000 years in the future, you are so close that you cannot see the entire picture just like looking at single neurons firing in a human brain so the real question is how do you accurately and verifiably tell if an AI is sentient or just faking it very, very well?

26:20 Molyneux has been a joke for a while now when you look at his most recent stuff he apparently graduated from making games to scamming people on kickstarter. Personally I never really played any games he made so idgaf about him.

I don't think it's that deep. Avatar is fairly self contained. It gives the illusion of a deep, lived in world but it's really just enough to carry the movies. A lot of movies don't have deep fandoms. It's actually more common they don't. You've probably just spent too much time around superhero culture to realize this is the norm for movies.

Oh god where do I even begin with the drone idea. That just sounds like an extreme environmental disaster. Drones are already loud, imagine the skies filled with highways of drone traffic. That’s the exact same reason why flying cars will never happen either. Not even mentioning how expensive drones over 250 grams are to operate because they have to be registered with the FAA and even then flown in very specific areas in unrestricted airspace under 400 feet. Drones are just unobtainable in most cities, and drones are flat out banned in Washington DC, even flying a tiny FPV drone will get you into massive trouble with the feds in DC. Can we just keep drones to the drone hobbyists and out of reach of international mega corporations?
