I've been having pain in throat after i eat certain foods. It doesn't hurt when i swallow. Im not having trouble swallowing. I been this way 2 yrs. Its on and off , depending on what i eat. Sodas were the worst. I left sodas and acidic foods alone. I have no pain if i dont eat those things. I do admit that I wasn't taking my nexium like I should. But now i take ut faithfully .Earlier this year in 2024 i changed my diet, I left sodas alone and started eating healthier and my pain went away. But if I eat certain things that I know i don't supposed to eat, then the pain to comes back. I've been seeing the ENT on and off for all this time. he will do a scope in office, he would look down my throat ,go through the nose and look down in there and he would just say ,oh your lingual tonsils are inflamed he didn't see any sores or anything and I did an endoscope in 2022 and they didn't see anything. So now im going to see a specialist at a university. The referral has been put in and now im waiting on appointment. The doctor said that he's done everything he could think of and he can't understand why I'm still having the pain because he don't see any ulcers he just see inflammation on my lingual tonsils. But that inflammation just feels like really bad throat pain It doesn't even feel like it's in my throat it just feels like it's on a bone in my throat like my Adam's apple but I'm not a man I'm a woman but I'm just giving you guys an idea where I feel the pain at. But I do know it is reflux related because if I drink anti acid the pain goes away so I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to see a specialist at the University and the doctor said maybe they can figure out what's going on with me because maybe he missed something he says I hope he didn't miss anything so I'm just praying that I'm okay but I am worried because I just just been going on too long

I was diagnosed with oseoghause cancer stage 2, 9 months ago I was having swallows problems and reflux I went trough 5 chemo and 23 radiation followed by surgery and I didn’t lose my hair I just ended up cutting because I was so stressed
@EmmieTeachesScienceАй бұрын
My mum just passed from this. They denied her the surgery that would’ve saved her because she was disabled and couldn’t do a running test but was even more mobile than me! Seeing her deteriorate and fight against it to carry on for 3 years broke me. I felt like I was leaving her in stages over and over again and grieved her as such. This kind of cancer is so insidious and heart breaking… it robbed me of my whole world. I would’ve took it all on just to see her survive. Every day after I’ve survived her I’ve done it in her memory. Done the best I could for her. Strong people leave pieces of themselves in us, and I am so glad this video has spread awareness so maybe other people’s family members won’t know this same pain. I hope it’s beautiful where you are ❤️🩹

I think doctors should be required to watch these videos. I just had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done today. Had a polyp removed from esophagus and sent for biopsy and two other biopsies from upper GI and lower GI . The doctor that missed her cancer should have to watch her video. The doctors need more empathy and to think outside their box, symptoms aren’t always black or white 🤷🏻♀️may she rest in peace 💔🙏🏻😢

My primary doctor ( no more) lollygagged me to 5 weeks of cardio tests then pulmonologist ( I’m a smoker) and said a trip to ER wouldn’t help me. I finally on my own initiative saw a GI doc and 2. Weeks later got my esophageal cancer stage 4 ( Mets to spine, liver and nodes)diagnosis

Watched your video several times- the first before my diagnosis and then yesterday 2 cycles of chemo and a 10 day round of radiation. I have stage 4 adenocarcinoma with full blockage of esophagus and metastasis to my spine and minor liver spots as well as some chest nodes. Took 6 months from onset of back pain and 2 months increasingly unable to eat even broth. G tube is how I’m getting nourishment but still losing weight ( from 137 to currently 115). It looks like you’re doing well now though the fight will continue on. I’ll be starting 2 meds next week that will target 2 distinct mutations my cancer fortunately has. Please post again. Just saw the OP passed after 4 years(?) of fighting. Bless her

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so sorry for what you’re experiencing. It is horrific and totally unfair. I so hope the chemo works for you and at some point you will be cancer free. All too often younger people are not diagnosed properly because of all the reasons you mentioned. You’re a very brave person with a positive attitude. I admire your strength. I have been having a couple of similar symptoms that you have but mine is mostly severe acid reflux which prescribed medication could no longer help. Because I’m 55 my GI dr ordered an endoscopy for me and by chance I was able to get in right away which was yesterday. They found no reason for me to have acid reflux, the dr relayed to me after, but found 2 tumors on the z line of my esophagus that he had biopsies done on. I won’t know the results until next week. I smoked my whole life minus 6 years. I already have serious health issues due to that. I’m hoping cancerous tumors of the esophagus aren’t another malady I will have to deal with. Two years ago I had an upper and lower GI and the tumors weren’t there so I’m hoping this was caught early enough if they are indeed malignant. I saw the pictures of the “bumps” from the endoscopy results and they look hideous, and scary, and not small. You are one of the few cases I could find on KZbin that involved a tumor and not Barrett’s Syndrome when looking up esophageal cancer. Again, my heart goes out to you that it has metastasized and spread throughout your body. Please try and keep up your best efforts to remain upbeat and emotionally healthy. You deserve so much credit for that. Also, it can only help you. May God bless you and you’re in my prayers. I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to hearing about your journey as you continue with the chemotherapy. ❤

Let me ride with the wind, free as the eagle flies, over snowcapped mountains, and icy lakes, I ride toward the evening sky. Let me rest on dew drenched grass, high upon the plains, gently I lay on God’s green earth, kissed by summer rain, with all my heart, my spirit tried, I ride toward the evening sky. Think of me when the Columbine grows, and the rivers swell with snow, as I will keep you in my heart, forever, wherever I go. God is with me, and I am free, I ride toward the evening sky.

Thank you for sharing. I just had my EGD last Monday. The results were that it showed inflammation in the esophagus, and they took biopsies. They prescribed an acid reducing pill. They called with a follow-up visit for 2 months from now. I don't know now if that is good news or bad. I just figure no news is good news. I really appreciate your sharing

The Doctors are to blame for this. They were far too slow to get her treated, they dismissed Cancer at the start instead of going for the worst case scenario at the start. She had the symptoms that something was seriously wrong.

I've had esophageal dysmotility, EoE and dysphagia that's bad. I have been on an all liquid diet since January 2023. Esophageal issues and not being able to eat solid food is not easy. I've had the whole issue overall since 2021. I really admire all of these cancer fighters you are an inspiration! I always insist on an endoscopy at least once a year. Esophageal issues are very under the radar and need more attention in the medical field. I can't believe they didn't do an endoscopy first! The barium swallow didn't show my stricture or anything when I actually had one.

I just found this video today. I’ve had swallowing issues for months and symptoms have escalated recently. I saw a doctor at urgent care yesterday. I appreciate that he got me a referral to an ENT for two and a half weeks from now. I’m scared. Eating is uncomfortable. I need answers. I hope I haven’t waited too long to get medical help, but I was in another state caring for my mom who has cancer. Bless this woman for putting her story out there for others to benefit from. I truly saddened that she didn’t survive.

It turns out, I have stage four stomach cancer that has metastasized to my lymph nodes, liver and lungs. I wish I’d checked out my symptoms sooner. This a hard cancer, with a very grim 5 year survival prognosis of 5-6%. However, God is guiding my healing journey and leading me to alternative therapies that already have me feeling much better. My hope are high that I will get past this with a story to share and a way to help other who are suffering.
