I don’t think he needs anything to “help” him (pun intended) reach the high notes! He has a 3.2 octave range and is the finest male vocalist for the 5+ decades he’s been entertaining us Aussies, without a doubt!

Just want let you all that John has NEVER had singing lessons and was a chain smoker smoker up to the age of 50 . He is a pure natural talented born singer. After Freddy Mercury died,John was approached and was offered to take Freddy's place but he declined as it meant he would be away from his family for long periods of time.

What a band! I doubt if a female vocalist could match John. It’s a toss up whether this performance is John’s best or Help in 1989 or even Gethsemane in the 1992 JC Superstar
