It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

I'm wear a Tudor Ranger homage from San Martin. Keeps good time, lume is great, size is perfect, finish is above what can be expect at this price, crystal is clear without reflections. When I compare it to my Rolex date just, the clasp could be better. I know the Seiko NH is not the same as the Rolex movement but the SM costs less than $200 US - For another $300-$400US San Martin could put a Sellita Sw200 top or chronometer grade in this watch - Selling the watch for $700US.

I cannot stand the PRX. One of the ugliest watches I know of. It's a frankenstein cut and shut job. This, however, is an incredibly well balance design. I am surprised it is being compared or touted as an alternative.

Including how to operate this watch will be a good addition to the review since most only buy watches because of how they look and no idea how to start with the watch

I was so disappointed with this watch. The first arrived gaining almost half an hour a day. The replacement didn't work at all! The watch looks great. The quality control is terrible though.

Very beautiful and elegant! (That caseback, though, is ridiculously too busy, nonsensical and clashes with the face of the watch.) Venezianico have several watches on my wish list. The same watch with an adeventurine dial is gorgeous.

If you can tolerate a mere 37mm case diameter, you can get a BERNY quartz titanium with a sane lug to lug dimension, full dial lume, and a titanium bracelet for less than $100.

Unless you have tritium, any other lume is an meaningless short term party trick.

Ridiculous lugs. And if you use a strap the extra lengths of the lugs will poke you in the wrist anyway, well beyond the pins. Total fail.

Interesting watch overall, you did a great job helping to invisage what the designer was trying to achieve with it. Not something i would have thought id like but i could imagine wearing it, summer day with a white t-shirt. Great review! I guess it's a Grand Seiko 'homage'- there's some Seiko elements like the birch dial and the SARX /snowflake colors (blue seconds) but I like it alot- thinn(er) too!

The thing with scratches on an acrylic crystal is that they look far less worse than on a mineral The mineral has sharp edges that show up far harsher than acrylic I find. But then, I own many vintage watches and what acrylic brings is a certain warmth to a dial that makes it look much more beautiful I feel

Yes, if your Seagull ST1901-equipped watch has a screw-down crown, you will need to unscrew the crown EVERY TIME you want to wind the spring. After winding, you should screw the crown back down to maintain the watch’s water resistance and protection. To wind it: Unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise until it pops out. Wind the watch by turning the crown in the clockwise direction. Screw the crown back down by pressing it in and turning it clockwise to ensure it's sealed properly.

The Seagull ST1901 is a hand-wound mechanical movement, not a self-winding (automatic) one. This means you need to manually wind the watch to keep it running
