Thanks George I have the Helm Komodo (2.5 years) and I covet it as much as my Oris Aquis. So I bought this Cadisen in the last sale with a fitted end tropical strap, as a beater, so my true beater does not get beaten🤣

Got a Vanuatu after waiting about 8 months (2021?). It was just too chunky me. Same for the Komodo which took about a year or so to get the magic email. It was a slab sided hockey puck. Beautiful designs but big hunks of metal on my wrist nonetheless. Taught me that I don’t like that in a watch. Ordered the black cadisen about a week ago and am excited to see how it fits. Supposedly has better lume than the white one. Dyed lume is almost always less bright and lasting.

To my luck the bracelet fits me really well in spite of the only 2 micro adjustments. Bought the black in July for $89 and really love it, it´s up there with my Steeldive Willard, and bought the white today for $75. And now! The waiting game.... ;) If you are on a budget, the Willard and this one are really awesome value for your money! They are both really comfortable with bracelets better than the price reflects and the Willard has really great lume to boot! Doooo it! Just get them! :)

Hello George! Greetings from Brazil. I need to give you a watch tip. Very cheep one from Cadisen, with a Myiota 8215 series on it. It's another Cadisen model C8225 a homage (I think so) to a Hamilton Jazzmaster Slim. For about 40 US dolars. You just need to change the awful bracelet for a nice leather strap. It has a 38mm diameter, with sapphire (no AR) and a 22mm lugs (a bit strange, but it looks very cool). I have the blue one (all steel) I change the bracelet to a brown leather strap. I love this cheap watch.

I dont like how the hour markers are darker than the hands and the bezel. I do love my Helm but it is really overengineered for my lifestyle.

A replica of a micro brand? That`s a bit sad... Just pay a bit more and wait for the real one. I`d also much prefer an NH35 to Miyota 8000, and the lume. Its more important to support micro brands than the likes of Rolex and Omega etc.

Agree on all the above. But Helm has a long wait-list for a watch that you might not like. So 86 euros can save you in the long run!

If a Helm has a wafting list that should tell you about why people are willing to wait. Its called "QUALITY". Pass on a clomage/fake of a microbrand. A MICROBRAND LOL.

Yeah don't wait for the real thing, Have to have it now so buy a clomage and know its still not the real thing, and everyone else who knows watches knows too. LOL. Pass if I cant wait for the real deal then I didn't really want it.

@@WatcheswithGeorgeIf you buy and really don’t like a Helm watch (unlikely) you can easily sell it for substantially more than you paid for. If you don’t like the Cadisen, your money is down the drain. So it does not get you closer to the real thing but potentially further away.

Have the Cadisen, like the colors, but to me it wears small. I'm a fan of bigger watches.
