ELDEN RING: Blood Moon Samurai (OP Early Build Shadow of the Erdtree)

| BLOOD MOON SAMURAI ADDITIONAL NOTE | Hey guys, if you struggle with the encounter at 6:03, you can skip it technically or even better: kill it. It gives great rewards and is worth taking on! Here's how to quickly get rid of it: 1. Make sure to get the Blood Moon Samurai's other weapon first (it's also why I mentioned it first) 2. Upgrade said weapon 3. What you will encounter is very susceptible to getting stancebroken, it takes around 3 to 4 charged attacks with the Blood Moon Samurai's other weapon to stancebreak him for a quick and easy critical hit/riposte. The hippo will be stationary quite often, giving you the time to do this. You can repeat this till he dies and the stancebreak will give you a bunch of momentum with his time to recover. Weave in some Ash of War casts as well, he has an easily reachable big head, so aim for that for the headshot bonus. In addition, the ranged aspect gives you an option to build up damage/poise damage from a distance as well. This is not a main boss which is what I meant with not having to fight bosses. It's essentially a bigger version of a mob that you'll find in the open world as well. Our first weapon as the Blood Moon Samurai will take quickly care of it (which is already a busted weapon and can beat the DLC on its own!). Nizar

I know role-playing is a big part of your channel and I love that every build has its own little story behind it. The Rakshasa armor also looks ridiculously good but I just read the text and I'm not wearing that. Let the no-hit-runners wear it. "increase damage dealt to foes, but greatly increases damage taken by wearer." If anyone is wondering why they take so much damage all of a sudden.

I subscribed because of how much fun this build is. 10 hours into using it and the weed cutter is my primary ash of war because of its low mana usage. Have been going over level 150 just to increase Mind. In NG+ Edit: yes the golden hippo is in the way to weapon #2. But weapon 1 makes him trivial.

Good Info to know is that Rakshasa's armor each increases the Dmg you Deal to foes but also increases the Dmg you take. Its like an 9ish % increase to dmg and a 8-9% kinda to dmg taken

This build is OP, keep in mind at the time I was level 19 on my scadutree but with this I beat commander giauss first try with a mimic tear. Best build I’ve seen in the DLC so far

Hey, just wanna mention that the Rakshasa Armorset makes you deal higher damage to enemies, but the tradeoff is that they deal grater damage to you as well. the text: "Increases damage dealt to foes, but greatly increases damage taken by the wearer.".

Using this build and it’s great one drawback is the armor especially in late game bosses when they have multi hit attacks so to play it safe switch out your armor if you do bring this into late game

Just an FYI this is literally a mini boss set. The sword and armor. It's great sure but after new game plus 7 you'll be trading more times than you'll be swinging. The art can and will get you killed. Just a friendly tip from your rivers of weed main.
