Neat. Polly Nichols murder site is right opposite on “Buck’s Row” with its stable yard gateway, railway bridge and the unmistakable Board School.

As mentioned above there was no second front door so the panelled extension into the passage way was a later addition. In th wreak garden earlier photos indicate fencing with intermittent slats….not sure how that is consistent with the neighbour’s version of sitting on his steps but seeing nothing. Otherwise an impressive animation thanks

Hi. Im starting to learn modelling in fusion. Can i ask what you build these in and how you make them interactive?
@canonical5Ай бұрын
I use Blender for modelling and a variety of apps to make them interactive. This video was created using Figmin app which is an app available for Meta Quest (VR). Sansar is a very good online VR/AR editor/app but it is pretty much dead now that Linden Labs (owner of 2nd Life) bailed out and sold it.

He had to have had accomplices. In almost all the murders, there were far too many risks. In the case of Mitre square, i believe the woman and man that were spotted at the entrance of Church passage, were lookouts, not Jack and his victim. I think he chose to murder his victims by gates, because this would have been an easy escape if he heard footsteps coming. And in the case of Marie Kelly in Miller's court, it would have only taken a concerned neighbour to spot him through the curtain, especially after the cry of murder came form Kelly's room. So someone must have been scanning the area while he carried out his work. I think it was a government operation to scare people off the streets, as crime and prostitution was rife in 1888.
@halloweenville12 ай бұрын
I am 100% convinced that Jack had accomplices. There is no way he would risk capture by being this daring. Anybody could have pitched up at Marie kelly's room and knocked on the door, because light would have been coming from the room. And i believe the couple that were spotted at the entrance of church passage, were lookouts, not Jack and Catherine Eddowes. This was an operation to rid the streets of crime and prostitution.

Hi sir, would it be possible to use parts of your content inside videos recreating the entirety of Jack The Ripper Kills with its outcomes? Your socials would be posted in the descritpions for others to see your content. :) ( just snippets or clips out of some videos ) I'm sure it could benefit us both! Cheers!

This gives more of a view of what was actually done to her than the original pictures did. The only comfort was that the first act, her throat being slit, was what killed her and the mutilations were all done after her death so she didn't have to feel as they were being done.

Your work is outstanding, absolutely amazing. Please keep working on more videos as they are all gems. They help us visualise the area in a way that makes us think more of the Ripper's brazen attitude and how he saw his opportunities to murder.

Truly haunting. What's interesting is just how clear the view is into the courtyard from the smaller window. Astonishing that no-one caught a glimpse of his macabre ritual given that he must have been there for at least two hours to carry it out.
@Lot_20233 ай бұрын
Ever hear of something called window coverings?
@Hesperian13 ай бұрын
@Lot_2023 The window coverings were threadbare as anything of good quality in Dorset Street would be an immediate target for thieves. See the Daily News report on the murder on the 10th of November for instance. The coverings are described as "rags". Remember the fire had also been raging so a fair amount of light was also coming from the room.

This is fantastic. One detail I’ve always been interested in, is an “on the ground” look at the lighting of that period. What would the lights and surrounding buildings look like to a person just walking around at night.
