I am definitely a ego lifter, going to keep it to 1 rep for risky exercises until I feel I mastered the form and mind-muscle connection. Maybe I shall videotape myself as well. Then once I feel that it is no longer challenging...do the same rep for 2 more weeks THEN I may progress. Tired of getting injured

I have l5 s1 spondlyosthesis with anterolisthesis with pelvic floor dysfunction as a male. I seen your other pelvic pain article where you mentioned flat back can cause pelvic issues. If i keep my pelvis somewhat neutral will that be fine for my pelvic floor and spondy? Also is there anything else you recommend i should focus on

What if you were to consciously move your lower jaw forward with the tongue on the roof of the mouth? I move my lower jaw forward, so my incisors touch. I find that to be one of the only ways I can feel my pterygoid working w/o compensating with my hyoid muscles.

Wow, now that i know i have tmd from a session with you i can make sense of the weird seemingly unrelated symptoms ive been having like ear fluttering sensation. Also, from reading the comments it can relate to the clicking in my throat? Never thought facial nerve symptoms could be related either. Whenever i mentioned these sort of symptoms to healthcare professionals they would get very confused. No one ever connected it my jaw before Very grateful to you shining light 🙏 It is very relieving to have someone able to understand and explain the mechanics to complex conditions well.

A loved one has an issue with this bilaterally and has severe issues walking and with groin/tesicle pain for over a year now. The doctors believed his inguinal hernia caused his issue and he had repair surgery for it. It didn't improve anything, and I believe they addressed the wrong thing. He did have surgery on both of his hips years ago and is pretty young still (late 20s). Could past hip surgery lead to this? They still haven't been able to figure it out and he's so frustrated =/

Hey Kjetil. Thank you for your work. Your practice has helped me immensely from being homebound with catastrophic tinnitus and hyperacusis to being able to share my knowledge on somatosensory co-factors with others. I'll definitely give your no-BS approach a shout-out on my channel.

Hello, I fear I suffer from the neurological version of TOS. Holding my shoulders up has proven to relieve symptoms. I do however work out 4 times a week and was always under the impression shoulder blades should be back and down during many exercises. Would you suggest stopping working out whilst trying to rehabilitate or is it advised to continue with shoulders kept high?

How much do you arch the lower back? As much as possible or is it just a matter of making sure the lumbar curvature is maintained and the lower back isn't flat against the floor?

I just came across your video after suffering from neck pains, which has led to upper back and shoulder pains(crunchy aka crepitus experience too) For almost 6yrs now, I just hope to get it right and be free again. This pain is beyond imagination but I believe I’ll be free again. Now I have to put your guidelines into consideration. Thanks for all you do.

Wow, was researching for different exercises on this muscle (as it is hard to figure out proper form by oneself for this) and I notice the website"physiopedia" references your video. Otherwise it is difficult to find a exercise which isolate this. Most are compound movements like the "cervical side crunch". I will bring this up to my physio and maybe he can help me with proper form for this. I also get a stretching sensation with this and it's hard to do in full ROM. I assume mixing strengthening with light stretching sensation is alright in this exercise.

Is it normal to get flare up of TOS symptoms (arm symptoms) when first starting to correct forward head posture? Haven’t started exercises yet and just the posture is causing a flare

Will be adding this exercise. Sad to say but your videos/articles are the only thing that truely made me realize the importance of posture and strengthening these muscles. People (like me) will always default to what is easiest without knowing the criticalness of such interventions. For some people like me we need a scientific explanation to be motivated. Way too much emphasis on massage+stretch and chiropractic care from docs. Posture was rarely a emphasis either. I wish my 16 year old self 10 years ago was exposed to these ideas but alas must be grateful for what we have 🙏
