That lamp is beyond gorgeous! It was definitely meant to be, and I am in love with that green!!! ❤❤❤It's been 24 years since my Mom passed away and 9 for my Dad. Birthdays are harder than holidays for me sometimes, especially not hearing from my Dad. We were incredibly close, but even more so after my Mom passed as I was living at home going to nursing school. My siblings, my niece, and I need to do better seeing each other(I live 30 minutes from my brother and 3hrs from my sister), especially now that my niece had a precious baby boy back in January. Your Mom and Kaia are watching over the 4 of you, of that I have no doubt. I know you know this, but it's a first without her, and that's almost always the hardest. Give yourself grace, Momma. Sending lots of love your way 💗💗💗💗 PS: Kieran gets even cuter by the day if that's even possible! He's such an adorable little dude! 😍😍😍

May is my birthday and my girlfriend always used to give me a flower when we celebrated our birthdays...I think your Mom drew u to that lamp so that she could let u know she's watching over you...I know how you feel about your Mom always calling you early on your birthday morning..it was that way with my dad...he always was the first person to call me on my birthday! I lost my mom a little over 5 weeks ago. My poor dog had some type of seizure last Thursday and my husband and I had to make the very difficult choice of putting him down last Friday evening. My husband and I are heartbroken. I have never felt this kind of grief before. You and your mom’s relationship seem very similar to my mom and I’s. My dog was my support animal during the initial days of my mom’s death. That beautiful lamp is a gift from your mom.

@@StefanieandKameron it’s funny for so many years I thought how can I miss what I didn’t have. My father walked away when I was 4 months old leaving me with someone who did and still doesn’t understand how to put anyone but herself first. The last few years I’ve realised I’d has hurt, rejection from a parent is hugely damaging. But now I know I can start to heal and not let it cause anymore trauma. We both know how important it is for your children to be the most important thing in a parents life. We are both breaking the cycle and we should be proud of ourselves 💖
