So jesus helped from outer space,where he lives! Why is it,when people survive something terrible,it's always Jesus helping them? The bible prophecy says that the true Jewish Messiah will have no magical or Devine powers. That's why Jews don't believe in Jesus. Christians always seem to leave this bit of the bible out.....for some reason!! Oh,that's right, it kinda stuffs up the big story, right ??

@@weldnermarreira3245 Hey. Good question. You need to get low, lean and rotate in the bottom turn, sinking the rail to allow it to pop out the water and spring you to the top. Here is a tutorial on a bottom turn I made- kzbin.info/www/bejne/raPXiapqaLOef9ksi=r1aZXMs0mt_qcUON and then how to understand how to use the flotation of the board and water flow to help during rail surfing and bottom turns watch this one- kzbin.info/www/bejne/npKnf4WOmbKEfbMsi=-vNR2CVzILInYF5k

Despite being a three step process, it looks pretty quick and smooth. I took surfing lessons years ago and I really struggled to get up in one single quick movement. I kept falling off. And that was despite my experiences with other board riding activities like skateboarding and sandboarding. I want to get back into surfing and I currently own a very short board. And it's going to be just about impossible for a beginner like me to pop up in one single movement on a small board like that. Yes, I still consider myself a beginner. This variation of the 'chicken wing' with the knees up looks ideal.
@shannonainsliesurf5 күн бұрын
@@PatrickCooperPhotography-nw1pp Good luck with getting back into surfing. Maybe try sell your short board and invest in a bigger board? It will help speed up the process and help avoid bad habits.

@@shannonainsliesurf Selling the short board sounds like a logical step. But it has sentimental value as it was a present from my parents years ago. For that reason, I want to hold on to it. That's by far the best video I have seen in terms of pop-up, thanks for going into all the detail. I do the clean chicken-wing pop-up since quite a while, but I would like to be able to do the knee-jump one as well without breaking a my big toe trying ;) Do you have any recommendation on how to progressively train for it? Any specific exercises?
@shannonainsliesurf8 күн бұрын
@@moritzgesang7768 glad you found this helpful :) Popping up from your knees is a good idea! It is an explosive pop up so the best way to train for this is to do burpees from from the knees and not the toes! With this technique you wont hurt your big toe during the pop up because you are using your knees to pop up. However, if you don’t do the explosive version then you need to use your knees to elevate your ass, place your back foot beside or in front of your other knee and then front foot after that. If you are not flexible then this technique might hurt your big toe because you will end up placing your back foot too far back and pushing off your big toe. So then I suggest some hip mobility work outs!

GOTTES SCHUTZ U. SEGEN 💙🇻🇦((SSPX) 💒🛐💙

I went from the chicken wing to jumping straight from both knees which is good but I don't nail it all the time, I'm looking forward to trying this one, it's seems to be a middle ground between the 2, slower than the straight jump up but better technec than the chicken wing, need something like this as I'm only learning, this seems to be way more stable than the chicken wing, cheers dude 😎

Yes you’re right. This is the technique you should use! It’s almost the exact same as the chicken wing, the only difference is you lift up your ass to make space to put your back foot down in a better position without the knee dragging through the water. Good luck and let me know how it goes 🙌

This is not scary, it is encouraging. This just hit home so much when you talked in the other video about the "inner sharks". I assume we are fascinated by our fear of the uncontrollable attack of an (nearly) apex predator. And that is WHO we are. We attack without reason ourselves - whether other human beings, ourselves or our environment. I had a severe bike accident when hitting a tram head first while on my way to the gym. I felt no fear the moment it happened. I felt fear before when I feared to slid under with my legs when the fall started. At times, I forget my calmness and acceptance of all once in the ambulance. You gave that other surfer what you had missed: good company. Compassion and in your case real help. I'm forever thankful for people picking me up AND waiting with me for the ambulance to arrive. That gave me the inner safety to face whatever damage had been done and trust that I will be ok either way. Thanks for doing more than that for your fellow surfer. He may not know that he was spared the traumatising experience of feeling abandoned and you were able to "undo" yours. (Kudos to your dad trying his best to get you raised - although he needed to abandon you at times. It is heartwarming to see that his efforts to make the best out of situation let to you finding a fulfilling joy in life). I guess I would go back into the sea, if surfing were my passion. Cycling in urban environment in the rain is not. But you teach us a great lesson about how to deal with fears and see that they kind of "unalive" us, keeping us at a distance to life.
