It's not Dark Side of the Moon but it's the closest album to it's magnificance. And I think it did have the best total musician talent of any band ever (even better than Pink Floyd). But after OK it was all downhil. They never wrote another song as good as any song on OK Computer. ;(

What I love about Wonderwall is how it kind of portrays a tough person, who's not used to showing emotions, becoming vulnerable. It’s like being so deeply in love that you can’t help but be honest and open. The song isn’t cheesy but beautifully vulnerable with a tiny bit of edge and I love that.

It's a full time job defending KOL to my friends. I have to tell people that there is way more than meets the eye to their hits. Every album stands on it's own and sounds like them. In my opinion, that's what makes a band great: changing the vibes and taking risks and still sounding like yourself.

The Pixies were not the first to have a soft verse and a loud chorus. Heck, listen to Ramble On by Led Zeppelin, for just one example of many. LOL Their (Pixies) recorded sound, rightly credited to the late, great Steve Albini, was definitely a game changer, even though it borrowed heavily from bands 20+ years earlier.
