Honestly, with how complex of a person SIA is, even with her duplicitous intentions with her work and stuff (seriously, I lost a LOT of respect for her after the whole MUSIC movie controversy and what came out with it), her music always seems endlessly fascinating in some way. Even before her fall from Grace, she seemed like someone who you’d want to know more about in some way.

@@astraldirectrix exactly what the last poster said. Also, she insisted on casting Maddie Ziegler, that dancer girl who’s in all her videos, as the main character. The problem: Ziegler isn’t autistic. And so many autism rights activists and groups came after SIA for not casting someone on the spectrum for the role, and she lashed OUT at them on Twitter for it. Not to mention, the comfort level of her relationship with Ziegler came into question, as it turns out they had multiple sleepovers at SIA’s place during the pandemic. Yea, not creepy at all…
@jacehackworth64132 жыл бұрын
@@astraldirectrix For me the worst part about the Music movie controversy was not the contents of the movie, but how she reacted to the criticism. She blatantly lied about not knowing how bad Autism Speaks is to save face. It became very clear the movie wasn't made for autistic people, but for her own image and ego. You know what actually, convincing Maddie Ziegler to play the autistic girl was the worst part. Even before the movie came out you could see she had apprehension about playing the part, but Sia kept telling her nobody would have a problem with it.
