Yes, the data can be sent to Strava. I just heard though that Strava just changed some polices that might interfere with data sharing.

Damn Amazfit for updating their software!!! The refreshed app looks nicer but most things are in same place. You need to activate sleep mode. on the watch go into settings, preferences, then click sleep mode. You can schedule this or have the watch automatically turn it on. You can also manually turn it on. this will activate DND and turn off raise to wake. You also need to turn on sleep screen. So if you try to look at screen you will see only a very dim basic screen. Hope that helps!

@@janieb6993 You toggle it on from the settings menu. in preferences. On the watch, you can also do it on the app, but the watch menus and layout has not changed.

The Komoot app makes it very easy to create a GPX file. Then that can be file will be detected by the Zepp app.

I had trouble finding a screen protector for this watch. It seemed there were only a few choices and the one I bought was just cut to the right size- not really made for the Cheetah. The Cheetah has a slight curve so the hard protector did not stick right. I would try to get a flexible TPU material that would conform to the curve but I dont have a specific recommendation,, sorry.

Obviously you will not get any new features and eventually apps may not work properly, but that will only be an issue if the software if very out of date. The biggest concern is after the watch stops getting security updates. This could put your information at risk, your contacts, credit cards, basically any info stored on the watch. Samsung promises 4 major updates and 1 year of security updates, so 5 years total.

Yes, I think this update makes Amazfit a complete smartwatch!

You are right about Facer, I am not sure if that is Facer's or WearOS fault. I also wish Samsung added ore built in watchfaces, it seems like they are outsourcing that to the play store.

Agree! They are all great watches and the 5 pro still holds up well 2 years later. But the battery champ in the OnePlus 2.

Yes, you will get basic notifications from any app on your phone. You can customize which apps push notifications to your watch.

Sorry if I was not clear, but I think we are both right. The Zepp app will not allow you to download any 3rd party apps onto your watch. However, you are able to transfer your fitness data to several 3rd party apps like Komoot and Strava but there is no actual integration with the Zepp app- the data is just transferred. You are also right, Komoot makes it very easy to make GPX files and save them to your phone. Then those files could be read by the Zepp app and saved onto the watch and used by the watch. But again it is only the data, there is no true integration between the Zepp app and Komoot. If you had a WearOS watch, like Samsung or Pixel, you would be able to directly download Komoot or Strava to your watch and use that app on the watch while you were exercising. I think Samsung did not include wireless charging for the Buds FE to show some difference between the Buds FE and their premium buds. For me, the biggest benefit is the awesome fit. I think these fit way better than the Buds 3 pro.

These new software updates are not yet available for iOS. But Amazfit says they are working on it. You still have voice to text but you have to use Zepp flow

That's open for debate, but I think that the Amazfit balance is the GTR 5.

Its called "black sand" but unfortunately there is no search function in the Zepp app for watch faces.

I am sorry about that, but I did not talk about that in my video. I did not review the T Rex 2 and did not comment about transferring the watch faces from the 2 to the 3. But I agree if you purchased them, then Amazfit should be able to transfer them (free of charge)- they should be able to make adjustment for the screen size difference.

You can save multiple locations (which is probably most important thing), but you can't label them and as far as I know you can not get them to show on map. To make a sort of hot zone area. Hope that helps!
