For the tap to pay function you have to have the screen lock set. Just an FYI. Also, I've read that SMS text messages come through but the watch doesn't vibrate to notify you that a message is there for you.

Right, I hate locking my watch, that is why I don't use the pay function. I got notification alerts fine.

@@techgadgets100 I still can't figure out how to get the notifications. The messages are there but I don't receive an alert. My Fitbit would vibrate but the OnePlus doesn't.

@@jbmcdoogle do you get alerted for any notifications? you can also turn on an audible chime.

@@techgadgets100 I get notifications for everything BUT text messages. No ping (sound) no vibration. The message is there in the Message app, but neither the phone nor the watch notified me. If the watch is completely off, my phone audibly alerts me. Something is happening somewhere but I can't find it.

I have OPPO Watch X, it looks the same, it would be nice if the brands could cooperat with fore example different faces.
