The amount of automotive youtubers hitting the market recently has been wild. I really hope that the business is sustainable but I feel like youtube is about to pull the rug out of this pop up market from what I've read.

I figured you would use a scrap Long bed/Flatbed and weld some sheet metal to it to make it deeper with a swing door at the back to push the trash out and make a dump run until they got you a smaller one.Could make a second channel video even.

That Ochre C10 is a 1972 with factory air conditioning. The marker lights being in the front bumper is the giveaway that is a 1971-1972 model but if you look at the rearview mirror and see it’s glued to the windshield, that tells you it’s a 1972. All other years of that generation had the rearview mirror screwed into the cab roof.

A public use building requires an outswing door, but you do not need one.. nice little weight room

Take the trash to the dumps or recycling your self. Save some money Why not. Putting a closet in the way of a window dumb how much money did you spend too put that window there and now you're spending more money to cover it up

Puddin, you could build a small mezzanine in extension of the stairs, across the door to the office, and the new room you have made. it would give a little more storage space.

It is always smart to double your two before is up by your door because if anybody ever gets mad and slams it it does not bust the two beers or break the frame wake up 5 house rentals on all of them all the doors that we put in everywhere even your inside and outside doors is that doubled up to before the reinforced bracing

56:45❤ you should knock the lower door kick plate off that and just lower the door a little bit that way you don't have to step over that kick plate and if you wanted to use a dolly to move a stack of boxes in there you could

you do a good job for someone who's never been around the building trade. a mezzanine from the outer corner of the room to the outer corner of the landing at the top of the stairs will increase storage and give you easier access. those nails holding up the roof aren't going to take a lot weight. get some timber bolt/ screws for the studs and some joist hanger brackets and you'll be golden. HayOh. in Australia we use noggins that go horizontally between the frame work for added strength.

Who cares if you make mistakes if it does what you want it to. But with that said, you were already on that roof to put the sheets up, Nathan will probably have to stand up there to retrieve any boxes against the wall in the corner, those decking screws aren't designed to hold that sort of load, I think you need lag screws instead into your wall studs to safely support a person.

Sorry to say you missed the boat. Would have been better off building your own dumpster and just plain shelves instead of a closet. Morske and everyone are coming out of the closets.

Watched him measure and mark 16” and put the X on the side I said “uh oh!” 😅 Yup later he says “not sure how that happened!” For sure this is how you learn. Got her did though! Haha. “More materials means it’s stronger!” Solid logic. 😂

Just a thought, and it would make for some good content. Find a dump truck, or build one, and then haul off your trash to the dump yourself (or by your help). Maybe use that Toyota Motorhome Chassis? I would even paint it yellow and call it ‘Puddin’s Tonka Truck’.

I've done some framing work on basements... And leaving in the sill plate for the door is the best way to frame in the wall. It doesn't hurt to add a little Liquid Nails to the bottom of the PT sill plate either. * As for why PT is a different dimension than the regular pine studs... It's because the PT wood is super wet (30+% saturation) and the studs are (8-15%). The PT will shrink as it drys out. * Also, when making a closet like that... Sometimes it's easier to just use metal studs. If you make a mistake in your stud spacing... You only need to remove 4 screws. But the best part is the wall will be flat! *You still use wood to frame in the door.😂

Only problem with putting the closet on an outside wall you have a bad chance of running moisture mold and everything else inside your closet and with the window that just increases it

Had a 1978 Luv back in the early 1980’s. The sheet metal was too thin and the factory muffler was not adequate which caused the bed to rust out extremely quickly even in the Deep South where we do not have salty ice roads.
