Rohm was accepted by Hitler but Goering, Himmler were jealous and probably afraid of him. They convinced Hitler to get rid of him. Without Ernst Rohm there would have been no Hitler.

Ernst wanted more power and Hitler started to see him as a rival. It has nothing to do with what you’ve posted. He was also a flaming homo. Hitler knew this in the time this video was filmed. Which shows Hitler gesturing for him to enter the car. Which he does quickly without any clumsiness.

This video does not imply that Röhm was purged because of this mistake. I already went into detail explaining the reason why he was purged in the pinned comment above. Röhm declared a "second revolution" and also wanted to see the Reichswehr merged into the SA. Hitler on the other hand didn't see any real use for the SA after the complete seizure of power in 1933 and wanted to heavily reduce its influence. The conservatives in the Army feared that the SA would replace them. Hitler started to believe that Röhm was attempting to overthrow him, but this was far from reality. Ernst in fact still viewed Hitler as a close friend. I didn't have any time to fit that additional information in a 60 second video, so this short is just highlighting his mistake, which was embarrassing for Hitler because the car was reserved for him only. This was the first and last time someone other than Hitler entered his car during the Nuremburg rally parade.

Yes, Röhm was in fact a homosexual and surprisingly Hitler tolerated this for many years. But that wasn't the primary reason he was purged. The main reason was because Röhm declared a "second revolution" and after the Nazis seized power in 1933, the SA had little use to the Nazi dictatorship. The Nazis feared that the SA could launch a coup against Hitler and so in the summer of 1934, Hitler decided to carry out the "Night of the Long Knives" and purge Röhm as well as other people who posed a threat to him.
