Thank you for the information about the vibration. I did not know the blade could cause that by becoming loose, I assumed it was the workpiece that was causing it. I will reset my blade before I tackle the next piece.

Love your video, thank you for this. I probably would never have attempted to cut a large sign such as yours. Now I'm enlightened.

😳How do you sand such delicate pieces? I have ridges (not smooth lines) that I’m trying to sand but I’m so afraid of snapping the script font in1/2” MDF.

Thanks for an excellent video... Great training presentation with amazing explanations and practical applications. I learned more from this video than most others, and it helped me decide how I am going to make a sign for a family reunion next month. Thanks!

After you are done cutting each piece on your scroll saw, do you still have to do much sanding? Or does the scroll saw blade do most of the work? Btw, the work you do is awesome.

They make/sell a handle with a clamp that goes over the edge of a 4’ x 8’, making it easier to manage. Might help immensely. 😊

The "clampy thing" is called, naturally, a _hose clamp_ . Don't take the ends apart. Rather, slip the ring over the hose before slipping the hose over the barb. You can hold the clamp loosely in place at the end of the hose using a few bits of tape, before putting that over the barb and then tightening. Use a ¼-inch socket, not a Philips-head screwdriver, to tighten the large clamp. It won't jump out and you can tighten it easily.

When you stop pushing the material and spin it to do the corner, does that not twist the blade?

thank you so much for being so thorough. You did a fantastic job on learning to cut large signs. I always started my cut on the outside and when you showed to use a pilot hole instead it made so much sense. Loved your video. Thanks!
