Portrait Making: Part 2

Just amazing work! I had a question about the painting process…after finishing the spray paint did you use a sealer and, if so, what sheen? And was it sprayed or brushed on?

For the round backer board, which you used oil based stain, how did you seal it? Did you use a water based sealer on that part? Thanks

Yep! I like the water based because then I can seal the entire thing with the same sealer. You could use oil based sealer on it as well though. I just don’t recommend using oil based on anything painted since it can yellow it
