Sorry but this idea was not thought through as there are two major flaws and a couple minor ones. First major flaw that has already been pointed out is safety as trusting anyone to do this safely using tape is not safe regardless the instructions given. Second is that you shouldn’t be stressing the bowed board at all when securing it. By using tape, glue or clamps to FORCE the wood by any means means you are just introducing stress that will spring back once released. The more the original bow the greater the spring back. Both of these points have been made in comments already but for some reason they haven’t been properly addressed.

This repair is absolutely ridiculous for a $400 saw. I’m here watching cause I have the same issue and what I have learned is my saw is going in the garbage and I’ll just get a new one.

I don't believe any of these adjustments make the blade square to the fence or miter guide. That is what I'm looking for.

Normally a question would be why didn’t you attach the rack to the house, which seems to be brickwork? However my guess is the this way the dominant sunlight comes from the back and then the house keeps shade, so the lumber is more protected. Also rain probably reaches the lumber lesss. Am I right?

Lasted about six months. The nuts are much harder than the bolts, bought both from Hardware Abyss, the threads wore off. Replaced with ACME rods and nuts, same hardness and better shape thread for using in a vise

To make a good idea, video production skills and you have to a writer, in order assemble a concise and fast-moving script. Most u-tube vids have one or two. Thank you. I have a goal to compete with now! :=))

I made one of these and it was so easy. I made mine with an extra inch around the top so I wouldn't have any glue bottles hitting the floor unintentionally. I'm happy that it replaced my glue holder and paper towel dispenser into one single unit. Much more efficient with all the french cleat holders that i have. The holder was also mounted with a french cleat. Very handy I must say.

So what part of this video involved powder coating? I must have missed it.
@OneMinuteWorkbenchАй бұрын
This was just a quick video to show making one of the components for a fixture that will be used in the powder coating step. It took all day to build the fixture, so powder coating will have to wait for another day 🙂

It's a good idea, but unfortunately, it won't work for me. I must cut 50 pieces from square aluminum tubing (20mm x 20mm x 1mm), each 25mm long. The first piece I cut got sucked into the blade and luckily no injuries or damage, I got away by only having to change my pants. So I stopped until I found a safe and effective way to do the job.

How has your experience been with thermal management? Your group head is pretty large, so I would assume it takes quite a bit of pre heating to maintain temp. Great video by the way! I really admire this type of work.
