Thank you! I picked up a craftsman bandsaw for $20 and was regretting it.. but I was setting it up wrong! Thank you again!

I made one of these and it was so easy. I made mine with an extra inch around the top so I wouldn't have any glue bottles hitting the floor unintentionally. I'm happy that it replaced my glue holder and paper towel dispenser into one single unit. Much more efficient with all the french cleat holders that i have. The holder was also mounted with a french cleat. Very handy I must say.

So what part of this video involved powder coating? I must have missed it.
@OneMinuteWorkbench9 күн бұрын
This was just a quick video to show making one of the components for a fixture that will be used in the powder coating step. It took all day to build the fixture, so powder coating will have to wait for another day 🙂

It's a good idea, but unfortunately, it won't work for me. I must cut 50 pieces from square aluminum tubing (20mm x 20mm x 1mm), each 25mm long. The first piece I cut got sucked into the blade and luckily no injuries or damage, I got away by only having to change my pants. So I stopped until I found a safe and effective way to do the job.

Brilliant video... Briiliant idea! Thanks... The 'music' is very, very annoying! It doesn't suit what your doing.

Yup, I'm building one like this. Thanks for the idea! Going to do an 8ft one though.

Can somebody please explain to me what's going on? what is the white material? Looks like insulation but can't be. Right?

yeah, then the tap tears and you have to rip it off and reapply. Just buy a good gauge

How has your experience been with thermal management? Your group head is pretty large, so I would assume it takes quite a bit of pre heating to maintain temp. Great video by the way! I really admire this type of work.

Good info but I need to know how to set the upper blades guide down for different wood thickness. Mine seems to have a carriage bolt with some sort of nut that I have never seen. I need to get the upper blades guide down to about 1 1/2" I'm going to be pushing a 24" piece of 2x4 from corner to corner. Thanks.

The bar and pipe clamps have nothing to secure them to the rack, other than gravity. Given that wall is the same wall as your garage door, I'm curious if you have had experience with vibration over time causing those to eventually fall.

This is excellent instruction. This isn’t even the exact same problem that I’m having, yet I enjoyed the video and learned a lot about my saw, including, I hope, how to go about fixing my own table saw problem. Great job. Thanks.

A common catastrophic failure in pianos is when the bridge cracks from the tensioned string sideloading the bridge pin. This causes the wooden bridge cap to crack along the grain. I came here because I am interested in soaking the drilled bridge pin hole in thin CA prior to putting the pin in to reinforce the wood. From your testing, I think it should help quite a bit. Thanks for the great test and video!

I am so excited to try out your dust collection idea! My tablesaw doesn't have anything currently and I'm working on setting up a workshop. This (along with other organization ideas) is going to help me tremendously! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!! ❤ I can't tell you how much you're helping me tackle these projects and especially on a budget! I've recently been laid off and have decided that I'm going to try my passion of restoring furniture as an income source until I find another job (so💲is TIGHT!💯). I sincerely appreciate your creative mind and willingness to share.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Ps: I just subscribed! 😁😉👍🤓

When u use this or any track, do u cut dead center of the cut line or off to one side or the other?

Hey Dude! Great machine, I really like the thermal insulation. Sad to see the kickstarter didn’t find traction. If I might make a suggestion if it’s going to live on the counter it should look more like art. I know BB is a better material but a walnut baseplate and bearing block would simplify the design. Mill the replacements for the red bits and swap the Philips heads and I think you’d have a much prettier machine to advertise. In any case you’ve earned my sub! Hope you’re still making wicked stuff!

good to know what the holes are for, previous vid didn't explain that. This looks optimal for a quick diy, and doable even with only 1 of the 3 fastening types you used.
