Just tried your recipe…. I added a pinch of all spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Delicious!🎉

Use a stabiliser instead of egg yolks, that way you don't get an egg taste. Also, you are saving money.
@scuffedkitchenАй бұрын
there is no egg taste the yolk makes that much richer and has a nice velvety mouthfeel~

Sounds good! Its new to me with sausage. The balsamic takes it home to Germany.

They make falscher hase different in different areas of germany. My mother was from Pomerania. She only used beef and she never added the boiled eggs. It was served with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a vegetable.

I know this recipe using red wine instead of cherry juice. Also a cinnamon stick and orange slices (with the rind) in the fruit simmering stage. (Remove orange and cinnamon stick after cooking.) How do you keep your fruit sauce so clear? Mine looks cloudy.

Wow I will be making this! After I soak the raisins I will pour the spiced rum into my jar where I am making vanilla extract !! That’s a great idea!! Thanks you for this recipe!! Love the accent too!!

Candlenuts are easily available in The Netherlands. Probably in your local asian store too. I would also advice never to use powdered lemongrass. Anyway good recipe

Hi do you have a problem cleaning up the machine after use?
@scuffedkitchen10 ай бұрын
No, it's pretty easy. The only things getting dirty is the inner container, the blade, and the lid. All removable and easily washable within seconds in the sink. I'm not entirely sure whether everything is dishwasher safe, though.
@HoneyK0018 ай бұрын
Totally agree very easy to clean.

Alcohol is a great way to rehydrate dried fruit while preventing the icy results you would get with a aqueous solution. I love my Ninja Creami. The instruction book reminds users that the Creami is NOT a blender. It does a number of things a blender can't do, and a blender does a number of things the Creami can't do. Study this before damaging your machine. Nevertheless, good rum-raisin ice cream is a well deserved classic.

The temp is nowhere high enough to actually cause the aluminum to dissolve into the meat. The only danger I see is surface contamination, which is why the can is washed...
@scuffedkitchen Жыл бұрын
That's why I said I can't guarantee food safety, and to use a special apparatus instead. But yeah, in general it should be safe enough if you clean it properly. Metal doesn't diffuse at normal oven temps.

Hehe, did something similar with my first attempt at these. Cut up half a cabbage and ended up with way, way too much of the stuff. Enough in fact to mandate several cabbage dishes throughout that week. Also while a lot of the ingredients have replacers, I'd suggest anyone trying these to at least try and find the sauce and the bonito flakes.

You are absolutely right, the smell of banana bread is absolutely amazing, your whole house will be filled with it. In my case added apple and chocolate as well into the mix. Apple cut into small cubes not grated though to have some texture, and went for dark chocolate since its flavor won't fade away into the cake. Again, broken into small pieces so it won't just get lost in the batter. Finally, and I don't really want to sound like a smartass giving a cook advice, but using powdered sugar instead of normal sugar will save you a bunch of time and effort mixing it with the butter.
@scuffedkitchen Жыл бұрын
If I had to use my hands, I'd be 100% of the same opinion regarding the sugar. Machines make it hassle free either way, though... Thanks for the recipe ideas!
