I'm guessing the first, but I wanted to be sure I'm rewarding her for the right thing

For people struggling to teach their cat spin - try a different word command! I was having such a difficult time, until I realized the s sound confuses her, because to her it's too similar to "sit" or "kiss". So I started using "turn" instead, and she picked it up much faster!

I have a silver bengal he is crazy and so loveable . He follows us all around like a dog 😂 . He walks everywhere on his harness . Loves to chat and climb and shout hello when we pretend to ignore him 😂😂😂 . Does high 5s and 10s . Best cat ever .

I got my first cat from the shelter, back in January. I’ve been calling her Athena ever since I got her and I think she kind of knows her name. She comes sometimes when I call her, but other times she doesn’t. I think I’ll try this so she can come more consistently!

How do you prevent excessive meowing? We took our tuxedo cat on a motorhome trip, and he yeowled whenever the engine was running. He has a very roomy, softsided carrier that he can move freely in, but it didn't help. The vet suggested a medicine to calm him, but I declined. He was his usual, crazy self when the engine was off.

I am currently trying to train my 2-month-old kitten, and I have to keep it to a minimum 3 minute and maximum 5 minute mark because she gets distracted so easily. This is the 1st training i have tried, and she comes when she sees my finger pointing at an object even without a treat, so I know it's working. Lol, it will just take consistency and dedication on my part, but I'm determined!

what happens if she's irresponsive towards treats? When i wave treats in front of my ginger cat, it's as if she couldn't see it, she always follows my fingers instead! And she doesn't seem to like the treat. She's only 10 weeks old, is it too soon for training? also would it be a good idea to buy kitten treats specifically?? or just cook some chicken breasts?

Weird question, but if you are getting 2 Bengals, would you use 1 clicker and train both cats at a time, or individually. Or would you get 2 different clickers (that would make different sound?) and associate one with one cat? Not sure if that makes sense?! Thanks

I tried short distance flights with my Bengal, she kept meowing the entire time I was so embarrassed (she is very talkative in general also) so now she stays home when I travel and it makes me sad 😭
