I would be so happy seeing little Mia on a flight! She is adorable! I had trained my Siberian cats to climb on my shoulder with your video, but now they are full-grown adults it’s impossible for even 1 to fit there. It’s so cute to see Mia on your shoulder in the airport! We have been travelling to Scotland, Belgium and Germany by car for trips from the Netherlands to avoid flying. I am sure they would be able to do it, but it seems very stressful for the parents. Maybe we will try it in the future.

I would travel by car any day over plane rides. You have a lot more flexibility. Sounds like you guys are doing amazing! Regarding the shoulder… Mia has also gotten larger and sometimes (particularly when not wearing a hoodie) I use a backpack to give her extra surface to hang on to. Have you tried?

I wished I could get my cats used to traveling. I have 4 cats; only one loves the harness but hates the car. The harness-trained cat gets so excited when I get the harness out because she knows it is time to go outside. I bought a portable litter box, a pet car seat, and a pet tent. We travel by car, and having at least one cat with us would be nice. I usually put the pee pad above the mat because I am scared I will not be able to get the smell out of the mat. I have been subscribed to your channel for a long time. Even though I have all notifications on, this is the first time I have been notified of your video in a long time.

It´s easier to travel with one cat than with 4, that´s for sure! The mat point, makes sense... I have washed it with a bit of bleach when it happend a while ago. It was fine! I think Mia is more comfortable over the mat, your idea is great tho!

I have a carrier that Kato took to immediately. She used the litter box, which came with the set, like a third option in the house, while we trained for a possible evacuation from a hurricane. She loved to run into one side and out the other and play. She is ready for evacuation. "we" love the litter that is virtually unscented, but has Lemon grass in it. When she scratches it releases a scent I like better than Lavender.

I have never red in any “forbidden items” cat litter as part of it. I have traveled with Mia over 20 times (40 flights +) and never have I ever encountered a problem with the litter at security. They will 100% test you for explosives at the security check, but nothing else.

A great idea! I have to make one from leather now to fit our style! I also made a leather & cotton rope harness inspired by your escape proof design, it's great and stylish! (don't worry I'm not going to sell your idea ;) I travel a lot with my cat (Koekies, 2.5yo female calico) in my 95 Year old Ford Model A. I have a stainless steel litter box that fits there, made from a gastronom tray (great tip for an affordable stainless steel litter box for like a quarter of the price of an official one) I also made a mesh frame from beech wood and cat mesh for balconies, that I can put in the windows of the old car, so that in the summer i can drive with the windows in the back completely open, without having to worry about her jumping out. The car is just perfect for a cat. She loves sitting on the couch rest in rear little window in the back. Or watching out the side window. She (almost) never triest to come forward during driving.

Unfortunately this is not possible in the UK since they don’t allow cats on planes at all here 😢. The only way is to “ship them” with cargo. Same with dogs or any other animals. The only exception is guide dogs - we don’t have a concept of emotional support animals etc. It’s completely illegal to even bring your animal to an an airport outside of a carrier that gets loaded as cargo 😢

Hi Albert and Mia, Me and Callisto loves the escape proof harness you offer, the only issue is the slider is made of plastic and becomes brittle and eventually breaks, do you think you could sell one with a metal slider ect?
@OutdoorBengal2 ай бұрын
It's a great idea. My only concern is that because of the shape of the harness, the metal piece is loose and it might hit the cat on the face. A lightweight metal piece is alright, but a metal one could scare or hurt the cat... I'll look into it because it's the only weak point of this harness. The newer production is made with better materials that should hold nicely at least for a couple years. I'm also working on a new design I'd like to launch next season. I'll keep you posted!

i found a different issue with it... my topaz is an ALC throwback, at 14 months she's a 6 3/4" neck and 15" chest, she's built exactly like them instead of a domestic. the other two are typical bengal proportions and buying stuff to fit them works. it has been a nightmare finding stuff that fits her lol and she's still a long lanky kitten, not even started to fill out. we've been eyeing the harnesses and have been debating getting them for lunatic and opal, they're 15 months and clearly slowed down with their growth. i love the style and the guys love the outdoors.

Hello! If you think your cats are going to be LARGE, definetely get the large size of the Houdini, but it's VERY large. To get the size right, the best you can do is to measure your cat and make sure you get the right size for them!
@AutumnVulpes3692 ай бұрын
Hi! i bought your harness and both my cats accept it flawlessly, however here are tree of my and my cats dislikes with it; 1. the thing that the lead attaches to it is WAY too long, when they walk around the house with it it dangles and gets in their face when they jump, its very unplesant. 2. when it is the "right" tightness that desnt let them escape but is comfortable enough, it restricts mvement around the shoulder joints and im not sure if that a user error on my part or not. and 3. will they be available in different colours? because its really hard do determine which one belongs to her and which one to him sometimes. thank you for making it it helps my anxiety with my cats and its on my part confirmed escape proof as my feral cat went feral the first time we were outside with her and the harness hept her attached to the lead so i had the chance to get her back to safety aka my arms

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I love hearing firsthand how to continue doing this harness better. I will work to see if we can make any of these changes in the upcoming production. Regarding the colors, I'm working on it. I'll share it on social media when they are ready. For now, we have 2 different materials (leather and neoprene) which could help you make that distinction. Hope this helps!

@@OutdoorBengal i like the leather idea, but i have experienced first hand leather that gets wet too often breaks easily so i dont use it for my kids (pets to other people but they are my kids) and one other thing thats a bit of a pet peeve of mine is its really hard attaching a light to the harness, since i like the idea of having a light on them in case we get to a darker area like a foresty bit. plus i have a black cat, an abyssinian. im really happy to see you found your nieche in stuff! im from eurpe and while the harnesses were really expensive, i decided on them based on your excellent marketing skills showing it off with Mia outside. one more thing, try making different harnesses for different cat breeds, because my abyssinian is built quite different to my mixed ex feral cat. both are rescues but i see a big difference in their physique. he is very slim and athletic and my girl is very bulky and muscular, and he especially has big issues with walking in the harness, though that might be his disability.

@OutdoorBengal2 ай бұрын
Hello! I've encountered people complaining about having allergies, but the airlines are very well prepared for it: - The air filtration systems are amazing (they were even effective during Covid to avoid the spread of the disease). So allergens don't travel much. - They will swap anyone who complains for someone who has no problem. There's plenty of people that will be glad to be next to a cat :) Hope this helps!

Your videos are fantastic, and I’m gaining so much knowledge from you! However, I have to admit that I was a bit let down by the prices on your website. While there will always be customers willing to pay a premium, I don’t think that a "Leash for Walking Cats 6, 10, 14ft + Stainless Steel Carabiner" should be priced at $25. It’s essentially just a basic climbing rope that one could easily make at home for a fraction of that cost. I understand the appeal of passive income, but I believe it’s important to maintain a sense of ethics in pricing.
@OutdoorBengal15 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for pointing that out. I have been making those by hand in my own time and the price I put is considering the time it takes me to make the knots + the materials. I have videos online teaching how to do the rope yourself. Happy to share ❤️ I have now found a factory that can make them for me and when I launch them again I’ll lower the price, so you are spot on! 😊

the majority of bengal cats thrive on exploring and new places, unlike a lot of breeds. my 3 girls get excited to get their harnesses on, lunatic especially purrs as loudly as she cat while standing for it, howling at me to hurry up, and jumping up on me(no claws out) in excitement while i deal with her two sisters as well. they will willingly jump into our vehicles and happily go out and greet everyone around us, dogs included, when we're out in public.
