I had an issue like that on my previous older gen one initially. Was fixed by removing the app, reinstalling it and trying again, hope that helps.

I looked back and unfortunately the company I grabbed it from is no longer around 650Rshop, I do believe it was the slip on and you had to remove the insert on the inside of it

I did get it coated in ceramic to be safe and I have the 3D Design leather key cover too so it's pretty well protected. But even when it was just ceramic covered and no cover, it didn't scratch at all

I stuck mine in and am asked to format it, and then it acted all kinds of weird, then shut off repaired, and now it doesn't detect it at all. . I took it out and started it and then reinstalled it, and it still won't detect it ..idk what to do

Hate this for you, couple of suggestions come to mind 1 - Make sure your PS5 has the latest software 2 - try reinstalling it 3 - Not sure if you bought it via the amazon link but they're usually really good about returns/replacements, maybe you just got a defective one Best of luck and hopefully you get it fixed soon

The PS5 has specific speed requirements, this one matched it. I also wanted good bang for the buck when it came to memory size and for the price, this was a good buy for 2TB

you can get a cheap m.2 external enclosure to update the firmware on pc without having to install it to an m.2 slot on your motherboard.
