I remember this comic book when I was 12 years old. I bought it and they warned me it was not like the movie.

53:08. This part alone reminds me of the DC animated movie “Crisis on Two Earths” where Batman on the surface level is more fueled with a bit of rage fueled with a drive to rid his home of crime with vengeance. But on a deeper level, he is compassionate to even the most evil scum within his city and how they can be given a change to change for the better. His counterpart Owlman on the other hand is nearly if not the entire opposite. Owlman on the surface level is more calm and fueled on a slight positive personality. But on a deeper level, he is just an apathetic sociopath who believes that choice is an illusion of another universe made that for you and even in his final moments he refuses to choose cause in his mind, “it doesn’t matter”. Batman is a compassionate (if a bit forceful) person who believes that there is hope to heal the world. Owlman just believes that in the grand schemes of things, saving anything wouldn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things and accentually gives up on everything by trying to destroy everything in the multiverse. Mr Fantastic and The Maker to me at least is kinda like that. One no matter how rough things are, still tries to good and gave up on his work for the people he cares about. The Maker on the other hand? He just pushes away anyone who would distract him from working on things anyone would never even understand and just cares about himself

Homestly prefer the original nemesis.ike thr story was much better and really liked how he died in the end. I don't really like the new nemesis he's no longer the rich bored super villian that we don't know who it is. Whike character development is good, I'm not sure about the change in perspective is as good as it could of been nor do I think of nemesis as a vengeful villian.

I like this story. Anytime I play games that have unarmed skills or weapons, I try to grind that skill until I become the best. I believe one could become A God of Fists. Maybe not in fantasy or folklore. But in their own view. I lowkey wanna get a coupla cinder blocks, find some hard wall. Fuck just anything, To practice hardening my fists until I feel nothing when striking someone. I also wanna train to be a boxer too. Maybe not God....but Khan of Fists! Given my Native American heritage, And how basically some people state that we came from Mongolia, As well as how the entire population of earth could be related to Genghis. That sounds like a title worth fighting for! This makes me want to train to be the best I can be. Good luck to you all.

Hearing the story again really makes me think of how, while extremely fucked up, humanity sort of won in a way. AM, a being now equivalent to a god with all the power it had, was still incapable of keeping 4 measly humans alive even after completely wiping out humanity. Moreover, it was the result of Ted overcoming his own insecurities and doing something out of real selflessness, even being relieved for the other victims despite the freakish consequences of his sacrifice.
