As a bank angler, I go any day with the reel that casts the farthest & I’ll take any steeze user on in a light lures cast battle vs a Metanium MGL. Both can cast heavy baits well but the Metanium can cast light baits better and I’ll put my money where my mouth is if anyone thinks I’m wrong. We can set up a cast battle to find out.

The only difference between the SV 100 and Zillion is the Zillion has an aluminum brake side plate instead of carbon and has 1 additional bearing. They have the same HyperDrive/Digigear/SV Boost system and are both 100 size reels. They have an insignificant difference in ergonomics and weight(0.2oz). What am I missing about the Zillion that justifies a $150 price jump?

As good as this is, the JDM Steez has a bit more tech built into the rods. U.S> AGS>SVF Compile-X>X45>AirSensor seat/ JDM Steez>AGS>SVF Compile-X-Nanoplus>X45X>CWS>3DX>Zero_Seat>SuperMetal Top. I think a cool video would be the "Battle of the Steez"

Is there a noticable difference between the MGL III spool in the 200 M and the regular MGL spool in the 150?

Changing the drag washers with a kit that adds an outgoing clicker to the reel, is also a popular upgrade.

Daiwa smoother initially but gets Geary, Shimano more consistent and easier to service no proprietary tools needed, daiwa is great but it's like a bmw amazing until it's not, Shimano not as smooth still buttery but more durable over time. I still have a spheros fb, and 2008 Stella, my daiwa dogfight was the better real but now it's junk and it's hard to get parts, for Shimano I can easily get parts they still serviced my old Stella and replaced parts despite it being way out of date.

I just got four new Expride B casting rods, and MAN they are STIFF compared too my other rods that have the same length/power/action rating. I haven't had a chance to fish with them yet because it's currently -2 degrees outside. Does anyone else think they should all be rated one full power higher than they are labeled?

How do you like the Addermine compared to the Landsat? I have a landsat, I'm considering getting the Addermine, but I feel like there might be too much overlap. I think the addermine is a heavier power.

Old review I know, Finally picked-up this rod having owned a few NRX/NRX+ and MB, Poisons, etc. This biggest allure of this line of rods, is whatever space-aged epoxy they use, as it's quite remarkable with them keeping the weight down to price point standards. I have a few Quatum Tour editions from the mid nineties. Great rods, still, but heavy by today's standards, but I still toss for lazy/cumbersome presentations or live bait... They'll last forever with that coat -- which reminds me of the makers mark bourbon wax dip -- and that's the point. If you can narrow down to just one conquest to cover a few favorite presentations, or just one you love, then the robustness of the Conquest, their warranty, and responsible handling should mean a lifetime rod.

Even on my small head, i enjoy the reefton pro. What a step up from oakly. Maybe i dont look that good in them and im trying to talk myself into thinking i look good in these 300 dollar pair of shades. But i do construction so my next pair will be bought at a bass pro b.c my selection in my rual town was not good, and i want impact resistant.
