I went a little OCD with my CO meters, checking everywhere I went. lol It started when I had one beeping in the cab of a truck one time when the truck wasn’t even running. Strong wind and the way the truck was parked caused exhaust from a welder found its way into the cab. That made me curious so I just went with it. Lol I’ve seen levels over 10 ppm several times in offices and homes. It’s not just gas and oil appliances and heating. Engine exhaust can get pulled into buildings and raise levels. I’ve seen levels over ten from sitting in traffic and clothes register higher after being CO soaked.

This is by far plenty big enough to run a 28 inch bar even without any modification. Carbureted 462 is an unbelievably reliable saw. If I had to pick only one saw for general use big or small and reliability it would be this carbureted 462.

@@Charles_Espaces_Verts it depends on what you’re doing. If you’re not doing any trimming or pruning work, the 3/8 is totally fine. I recommend Stihl PS 63 chain.
