Does the 4.0 help cut down on engine breaking on a 450?

I installed the radius Cx 4.0 in my new 2024 husky FC 350 Bled all air out of clutch line, adjusted the free play to correct 1/8…Bike moves with clutch in? I’ve bled, re-bled and re-done free play at least 1/2 dozen times .. Been on phone with rekluse and now can’t call till Monday. I’m beyond frustrated! I’m contemplating taking out and going back to stock… Anyone have any clues? Could it be a spring issue? Somehow I’m not convinced. Checked installation 3-4 times, it’s pretty straightforward..

to bleed mine i remove the bleed grub screw on the bars place a drip tray under the bars hanging on a strap , open up the brake calliper bleed nipple with a syringe already full of fluid then pump it through till its nearly empty then close the calliper bleed nipple and refit the grub screw works every time quick n easy, secret is try get the grub screw back in place whilst the fluid is still pumping through so no back syphon of air from the lever end pretty simple really.

Had an older Recluse EXP 3.0 (in 2014) on my KTM500. Just put the EXP 4.0 on my Gas Gas ES500 and the 4.0 is a big improvement over the 3.0. Great addition to my bike!

I found that the M6 (6 mm) screws for extraction are way too small. When I used M6x40, the screws went through the cover and onto the engine case screw hole. I then had to use extractors to remove those screws causing lots of extra work. Did anyone else experience this issue?

This sounds perfect. The M8 clutch is noticeable more difficult to manipulate compared to my Sportster and Dyna.

Bought a 2001 softtail w/ a side car, jockey shift, and, centriugal clutch. I noticed though, if I'm in a certain gear and nail it... it seems to slip... weird.

If I already have the 3.0, what actual differences am I going to notice like if I'm just sitting there in second gear not moving and I twist the throttle all the way is it going to feel any different? How do I make it spin the wheel faster like a two-stroke?

Great video. Just got a new to me 2009, 300 xc-w that came w my first Recluce. It's probably like Gen 1 Recluse. It seems to be working correctly as in it idles in gear w no clutch, and a slight pull forward. I can "tractor" the bike in second without touching the lever. Still getting used to it. My Biggest issue is the power delivery seems to have a lag sometimes. Could be out of adjustment (it's old now) or operator error. The power has come on unexpectedly, which has been scary a few times. I need to find someone in Michigan with experience on these clutches.

Heard the OEM wet clutch on the water cooled Beemers have problems, such as fast wear and slippage.. Have you found this true? Thx

I have these clutches on my 23 KTM 300 and 350 and they work flawless. I put one on my 24 Beta 390 race edition and I just can't get it to work like my KTM's do. Im to point of going back to stock clutch. Such a fine line between engagement, free play gain, slipping and dragging.I think some of it has to do with the way the Beta idles. I don't know
