Do you know how to adjust the week date from Eng to Japanese (Chinese)?
@gadgetbeacon8 күн бұрын
The movement is the H100, so I'd recommend heading to the Citizen website or Googling Citizen H100 to find a PDF download of the user manual. You'll need the manual to set this watch for sure.

It's a nice watch, I just get one. The diameter is a little bit smaller. except this. everything is good.

I think 38mm is the sweet spot for me with watches these days. Thanks for watching!

this watch in itself is a fake watch. imagine paying 400+ dollars for a piece of plastic with a name brand stamped on it.

The Blancpain is certainly a lot cheaper feeling to me than the MoonSwatch. The Sistem51 movement is a big part of that

a6400 here! Not the same method, but inspired by you, I used a permanently glue and glued it on a screw waited until it’s dry and pull it out
@gadgetbeacon18 күн бұрын
Glad it worked! Though, I’d caution anyone to just be careful using glue in case it runs over the edge of the battery into the camera’s compartment. I don’t really want any form of liquid in that area if I can help it.

Just received mine a few days ago from Meranom. Received watch with the exact same strap. It is comfortable to wear, but the tapering from 18mm to 16mm made it look like a lady's strap on my wrist. Way too small. I swapped it out with a "James Bond" Nato strap that is 18mm through out. It is a great value. It has kept the time very accurately so far. Really great looking watch.

I think a mesh strap could look good too! Thanks for watching!

Mine looks like yours. Case, band and everything. But the band stinks horribly and thus i think it could be a fake. Did yours stink as well?
@gadgetbeaconАй бұрын
Not that I can remember! I know a lot of plastics “air out” or vent from their production process. It’s the reason why we have the “new car smell” and whatnot. Perhaps it’s just that and it will get better over time

Citizen: "Ohhhh Seiko seemed successful with their wallpaper dial snowflake, let's copy this idea "
@thewalrusmonger9878Ай бұрын
They’ve been making washi dials for 7+ years
@tombundgaardАй бұрын
There’s no copy here. I’ve got the snowflake GS, which is a metal sheet that is stamped. Citizen (which I also have) is not metal, but see-through paper, that let’s let light shine through to the light sensor. How can these two things be the same? Insane

i don’t understand when reviews don’t include pulling out the crown and showing functions. Does this have a jumping hour feature?
@gadgetbeacon2 ай бұрын
With this watch, pulling out the crown is pretty complicated. It’s a solar quartz with a perpetual calendar and it receives radio signals to set itself every night. Pulling out the crown and messing with it wouldn’t show much and it’s a pain to reset. It does not have a jumping hour feature

Does this watch have lume? Doesn't look like it does. Otherwise, the watch is perfect.
@gadgetbeacon2 ай бұрын
It does not. This, like many of the Grand Seikos uses high polish dauphine hands that reflect light very well, but there is no luminescent material. Some people claim that they can see the time in the dark on these high polish hands with even just a little bit of light, but that has not been my experience.

@@gadgetbeacon Thank you for the detailed explanation!
@Valmed8726 күн бұрын
@@gadgetbeacon that has not been your experience with the Citizen, the Grand Seiko or both?
@gadgetbeacon25 күн бұрын
@@Valmed87 With dauphine hands in general. I love dauphine hands, but I just don't agree that they are still legible in dark conditions. I don't really care about lume though, I prefer the look of my Citizen and Grand Seiko as-is.

Super glue a piece of paper or something string to it, pull it out
@gadgetbeacon2 ай бұрын
Maybe, that could work but you have to be careful. If you get glue past the battery you could have issues. I personally don’t want anything liquid near the internals of any electronics.
